What happened during the week of December 3, 2012

Bill and Brooke discussed the kiss they'd shared. Though it had felt magical, they agreed to never speak of it again. Hope and Liam discussed where they stood after their breakup, and Liam explained that he'd let go after she'd refused him for the last time. Caroline told Steffy and Liam that Hope still loved him, but he assured Steffy that it didn't change anything. Caroline and Rick confronted Bill about his role in sabotaging the Italy wedding, but Bill and Brooke talked the duo into keeping quiet for the time being. After a frank talk with Hope, Caroline rushed into Liam's office, but Bill stopped her from saying anything to Liam. Later, Caroline returned and revealed the truth to a person sitting in Liam's chair with his back to the door. Thomas and Taylor figured that the stock that Stephanie had willed to Thomas would give him the unquestionable authority to run Forrester. Brooke and Rick appealed to Eric to challenge it, but he was powerless to do anything. Tempers flared in a meeting in which Thomas exerted his power as the interim CEO and majority stockholder. Eric discovered a video that Stephanie had made before her death. In it, she informed the family that a loophole in the company's original incorporation gave her the power to name a permanent CEO.

What happened during the week of December 3, 2012

Eric and Nicole grew closer on her first day at work at the rectory. Eric advised Nicole to find a way to get over her feelings for Daniel. Eric hinted to Sami that there was information from his past that he had not shared with anyone. After the procedure failed to correct Daniel's hand tremors, he asked Jennifer to keep her distance. Maggie advised Daniel to get away from Salem for a few days. Daniel left for the Horton cabin, unaware that Nicole and Jennifer planned to join him. Nicole tried to convince Jennifer to leave the island because Daniel couldn't stand the sight of her. Daniel asked Nicole for time to talk to Jennifer privately. While trying to convince Daniel of her true feelings, Jennifer collapsed. Daniel told Nicole that Jennifer was very ill and might need surgery. Brady admitted to Kristen that he had overheard her confession and knew that she had feelings for him. Nick's plan to raise Will's child as his own with Gabi shocked Will. Though conflicted, Will agreed to Nick's plan because it was best for the baby. Later, Nick and Gabi decided to tell a few relatives and friends that they planned to marry soon and become a family. Marlena burst into Kristen's hotel room and caught Kristen and Brady making love. Kristen met with E.J. and told him that her plan was working out as planned. E.J. tried to convince Kristen to help him keep Rafe occupied while he pursued Sami. Marlena realized that Brady had not seen her when she entered Kristen's hotel room. Later, when Marlena met with John, she was tempted to tell John about Brady and Kristen. Kristen was shocked that Marlena had not told John about her affair with Brady.

What happened during the week of December 3, 2012

Robert accused "Duke" of being Faison, but Anna refused to believe Robert. After Robert was arrested for breaking into "Duke's" apartment, Anna agreed to take a short ski trip with the man she believed was Duke. Anna became alarmed when she heard a noise in "Duke's" hotel room, so she burst through the door, but stopped short when she spotted Faison. A.J. revealed to Diane and Michael that he had seen Cesar Faison alive and well in a clinic in Switzerland well after Faison's supposed death. The district attorney agreed to drop all of the charges against A.J. in exchange for A.J.'s full cooperation in helping to capture Faison. Carly feared that Sonny had played into A.J.'s hand by kidnapping Connie. Sonny explained that he had been trying to help Kate, but Carly insisted that A.J. would use the information to discredit them to Michael. Molly was horrified when she realized that she had accidentally downloaded something that had overwritten the file that had contained her book. Molly suspected that Connie knew what had happened to the missing manuscript in Todd's office, so she volunteered to intern for Connie to covertly search for the only remaining copy of Love in Maine. Connie decided to pass Molly's book off as her own work. Spinelli and Felicia had reservations about Maxie's decision to be Lulu's surrogate. Maxie warned Ellie that Ellie and Spinelli wouldn't last because Maxie and Spinelli were soul mates. Agent Theodore King, from the CIA, informed Téa and Blair that Tomas had been called back to active duty. Téa, Blair, and Skye joined forces to track down Tomas and find out what his connection was to Lorenzo Alcazar. John asked Anna for a job with the police department, so that he could show the courts that he had steady work and could support his son. Anna explained that Delores Padilla had taken a job in New York City, so Anna hired John and assigned him to work with Dante.

Avery showed Nick a loft space and suggested he turn it into a nightclub. Noah was excited about the project and wanted to be part of his father's plans. Billy tried to get a traumatized Victoria to open up about the kidnapping. Jack tried in vain to make amends with Victoria and Billy. Jack grew more dependent on pain pills. Adam and Chelsea continued squabbling about Sharon. Victor informed Adam of Jack's painkiller dependency and urged him to move against Jack for control of Newman Enterprises. Sharon confessed to Dr. Watkins that Chelsea had threatened to reveal that Sharon had started the ranch fire. Sharon sent Adam back to his wife and told him she couldn't rely on him any longer. When Nick found out about Sharon being on the property, he confronted her and learned that she had bipolar disorder. Nick warned Adam not to exploit Sharon's illness for his benefit. Neil convinced Leslie to work with him at Jabot despite their mutual attraction. Devon criticized Neil about the uptight environment at Jabot. Tucker flirted with Jill over dinner. Michael warned Fen that Summer was not a good influence. Later, when Summer needed Fen's help, he rejected her because he was jealous of her friendship with Jamie. Summer blamed Phyllis for ruining their family. Phyllis told Summer about why she'd left home as a teenager. Summer was more comfortable with Avery than with Phyllis. In a staff meeting at Newman Enterprises, Jack became increasingly forgetful, a result of the medication he was abusing. Jack bribed a doctor to write another prescription for pain pills when he'd used all he had. Nikki and Victor moved into a luxury penthouse then hosted a party for friends and family. Sharon crashed the party to apologize to the Newmans, but they treated her with disdain. Noah took a swing at Carmine, who was bartending, when Carmine mocked Sharon. Adam followed Sharon home from the party and tried to calm her. Adam kissed Sharon deeply. Chelsea, who'd followed Adam, discovered him embracing Sharon. While Victoria went to her parents' housewarming, Billy redecorated the house to look like a beach in Jamaica. When Victoria arrived home, she was pleasantly surprised. Victor told Nikki he'd invited Adam to the party to lull him into a false sense of security. A New York City detective questioned Noah about Adrianna.
