What happened during the week of August 6, 2012

Tucker tried to help Sharon when Victor disappeared on their wedding night. A drunken Sharon went to Nikki's wedding, looking for Victor, and Nikki pushed her into the pool. Billy's first episode of Restless Style was a success, even though Victoria objected to his using family information as gossip. Phyllis freaked out when Billy suggested on the Restless Style television show that he had bombshell information about her case. Chelsea told Victoria that she and Adam were trying to get pregnant. Adam and Kevin hustled to launch the TagNGrab website before the competition. Phyllis refused to sleep with Tim, but agreed to pay him blackmail in exchange for the confession tape. Nick was incensed when he caught Phyllis paying off Tim after wiping out Summer's trust fund to get the money. Avery was disgusted with Phyllis' lies and quit her case to handle Paul's defense. Sharon had a hangover and apologized to Tucker but was still miffed that Victor was gone. Jack promoted Cane at Jabot. Nick warned Sharon to get her head on straight for Faith's sake. Nikki was not pleased with Sharon's efforts to find Victor, so she took over. Kay warned Nikki to attend to her marriage to Jack. Harmony and Neil had their first official date. Avery went to the Newman ranch to collect Victor's legal work, but Sharon denied that she'd signed a pre-nup. Later, Nikki found Victor's phone on the ranch and used it to send a fake text message to Sharon, saying -- as Victor -- that the marriage was over. Sharon was furious about the message, thinking Victor had dumped her. Sharon discovered the pre-nup in Victor's briefcase and realized that she'd get nothing from their brief marriage. Sharon burned the pre-nup, nearly getting caught by Nikki. Eden agreed to try hypnosis to remember the night of Ricky's death. Eden became extremely frightened. Despite Kyle's protesting, Eden continued but could only recall intense fear of Ricky. Eden hoped her words would be enough to help Paul, but Christine had doubts. Christine said goodbye to Paul before returning to D.C., confident that he'd be a free man soon with Avery handling his defense. While his family was in the dark about his whereabouts, Victor stood alone at an industrial loading dock and contemplated what to do.

A look at what was happening the week of August 16, 1999

Adam, who had just returned from London, was angry that Jake kept him from spending time with Liza and Colby. David was unable to help Dixie, who miscarried her baby. Erica comforted David, who was upset over Dixie's condition. Dixie overheard a part of a conversation Tad and Joe were having and mistakenly assumed that Tad felt the miscarriage was for the best. Edmund was skeptical when Alex said Dimitri had complained of a severe headache and feeling ill just before he collapsed and died. Jack informed the already suspicious Edmund that Dimitri had changed his will just after he and Alex were married. Raquel told Hayley that she had slept with Mateo as a way to hurt her. Raquel then packed her bags and left town.

Lily welcomed Lucinda home, but worried that she was still unable to speak or walk, so she had John examine Lucinda. John caught on that Lucinda was only pretending she couldn't walk or talk, but agreed to keep mum when Lucinda said she planned to use Molly to find out what Reid/David was up to. Andy went to see Molly, who was arrested despite her claim she had gone with Reid/David in order to get Melinda back to Lily and Holden. Jack paid Carly's bail after she tried to bribe a cop to release Molly.

A look at what was happening the week of August 16, 1999

Richard and Reva learned Jonathan was still alive and in Olivia's care. Olivia was drawn deeper into Edmund's evil plan in exchange for her and her family's refuge from San Cristobel. Edmund shot and wounded Richard. Olivia assisted with the rescue, but Reva and Richard thought she was the culprit. Michelle, Danny, Josh, and company left for San Cristobel to rescue Reva after Reva was a no-show at the airport in Springfield. Josh found Cassie "the stowaway" and was furious that she had put his plan in jeopardy. Just as things worked out, the authorities were in hot pursuit of the Santos yacht. Edmund continued to deceive Richard and Reva. Blake continued to misunderstand Holly and Ross's relationship. Ross accused Blake of meddling in Holly and Sam's personal business, and with that, she decided not to tell Ross about the baby. Harley stood by Blake as she considered an abortion for all the wrong reasons. David and Vicky both considered careers with the Santos family. Drew proceeded with Max's adoption and decided to search for her birth father. Ben confided to Carmen about his own childhood abuse, his adoption, and his attachment to Max's case. Buzz admitted his feelings for Selena. Susan taunted Beth about Jim's trip and informed her that Cassie was also out of town.

Blair set up surgery for Max but had to drug him to get him there. Rachel was released from prison. Jessica broke up with Cristian. The rapist turned out to be Brian, a janitor at the Sun.

There was a large party to celebrate Pilar's birthday. Ethan and Sheridan, unaware of the party, decided to drop by with gifts. Luis and Sheridan did a sexy tango. Tabitha crashed the party and unplugged the clock, making Charity late for her bus. Faith called Grace, looking for Charity, and had a nice conversation with Grace. The next day, it seemed that Sheridan and Luis had reached an understanding, but both of them received information that changed their minds. Theresa gave Frank some information. Sheridan's sentence was handed down.
