Will's plan to blackmail E.J. backfired when E.J. used information from the past to keep Will in line. E.J. forced Will to steal critical information from Abe's new jobs plan. He told Will that he worked for a DiMera. E.J. calmly cautioned Will that if he refused to do as instructed, E.J. would inform the police that Will, not Lucas, was the one that had shot E.J. a few years before. Nicole seemed suspicious about Will's interest in E.J.'s mayoral campaign. Brady resigned from Titan and told John the exciting news that they would rebuild Basic Black together. Brady and Nicole seemed content about their respective love lives. Victor offered Madison the job as CEO of Titan. Kate complimented Sami on her idea for a new promotion for Countess Wilhelmina. When Sami told Kate that she was anxious to celebrate the news with Rafe, Kate questioned her and hinted that there might be trouble in paradise due to her constant need to be with Rafe. Things got hot between Carrie and Rafe when the ventilation system went off in their office, and Abigail found a way to get close to Austin by landing a job as his office assistant at Salem University. Will seemed envious of Sonny's strong relationship with his parents and their acceptance of his lifestyle. Bo and Hope located Alice's mysterious safe deposit box, but then learned that she owned it with someone else. Sami walked in on E.J. presenting Will the keys to a new sports car for a job well done.
A pregnancy test confirmed that Sam was indeed pregnant. Patrick warned Sam that Jason needed to stay calm until they could figure out why Jason was experiencing bouts of rage and fainting spells. Spinelli's friends quickly located Franco, so Spinelli shared the information with Jason. Jason went to Franco's gallery to confront Franco. Franco tried to play head games with Jason, but Jason shot Franco dead, and then set fire to the gallery. Jason went home, and told Sam that Franco was out of their lives for good, but Sam revealed that she was pregnant. Kate and Sonny made love, and then decided to take their relationship public. Michael continued to lash out at those around him, as he remained determined to join the mob. Carly agreed to sleep with Johnny in exchange for Johnny's promise not to let Michael join the Zacchara organization. Carly turned to Luke for help in obtaining information that she could use to gain the upper hand with Johnny. After the police released a man suspected of attacking the dancers from Vaughn's, Michael turned to Sonny for help. Sonny refused to murder a man based on a hunch, so Michael decided to buy a gun to do the deed himself. Someone waited for Sonny to be alone, and then opened fire. Robin left for Seattle to see a specialist, but told everyone that she was attending an AIDS conference in Africa. Elizabeth revealed to Patrick that Robin's viral loads were unstable. Ethan and Cassandra made love. Ewen warned Cassandra to stay away from Ethan.

Robert Ford died while trying to rescue Jessica from Mitch's clutches. Natalie unloaded a gun on Mitch, ending his life. Stacy Morasco and Eddie Ford escorted Mitch to Hell. Clint and Viki asked Vimal to run another DNA test to confirm Allison Perkins' claim that Clint had fathered both Natalie and Jessica. Jessica was thrilled to learn that she was indeed Clint's daughter. Clint proposed marriage to Viki. James decided to break things off with Starr after he overheard Starr confess to Cole that she had always loved Cole. Todd took steps to make it appear that Cole had died, so that Cole could be reunited with his parents, instead of returning to jail. Starr received an opportunity of a lifetime, so she followed her dream by moving with Hope to Los Angeles to record an album. Starr was delighted when Cole showed up in Los Angeles to be with her and Hope. Shane was accepted to a prestigious art school in London. Rex and Gigi decided to move with their son to England, so they bid farewell to their loved ones in Llanview. David and Matthew returned to Llanview to welcome Bo home after Bo recovered from his gunshot wound. Destiny went into labor, and then gave birth to a baby boy. Matthew and Destiny named their newborn son after Matthew's brother, Drew. John rescued Tomas. Todd and Blair made love, but their happiness was short-lived when John arrived to arrest Todd for Victor's murder. Victor was revealed to be alive, and a prisoner of Allison Perkins.

What happened during the week of
Kevin and Angelina went to Angelo's hideout on Long Island Sound, where they discovered Jeffrey. Billy got Chelsea to admit on tape that their sexual encounter had been consensual. Nick and Phyllis help Nikki open one of Deacon's files, and it contained a film of Deacon and Diane having sex. Nikki told Victor that Deacon had blackmailed her into marriage. Patty left Ronan a page from Diane's diary to keep him from questioning her. Tucker rejected Adam's offer to illegally acquire Beauty of Nature. Jeffrey denied leaving Gloria. Billy and Victoria decided to get Chelsea's baby and raise it as their own. Deacon showed Nikki a film of her fighting Diane. Nikki assumed that she had killed Diane, but Ronan proved that Nikki had acted in self-defense. Deacon was arrested for obstructing justice. Sofia advised Neil to take Kay's offer to return to Chancellor. Harmony and Tucker collaborated to help Devon with his cochlear implant. Jeffrey stole the boat and left Kevin and Angelina stranded on the island. Gloria agreed to be Angelo's lady, but asked to take things slowly. Jack was determined to get Beauty of Nature for Adam. Tucker hired Nick to work for McCall. Adam called a board meeting. Nikki walked in at the end of Sharon and Victor's wedding.
