Madison and Brady almost made love, but Madison pulled away. Sami struggled with the guilt of her hasty one-night stand with E.J. when they thought that Johnny was dead. Sami could not understand why Will was so hostile toward her, unaware that he had caught her and E.J. in the act. Sami and E.J. vowed to keep their affair a secret. Kate and Quinn solidified their business relationship and plan to ruin Madison. Kate overheard Madison berate Sami for patronizing the competitor's products and services and taking time off from work. Kate told Quinn, and they decided to use the information to their advantage. Roman warned Kate to stay away from Quinn, and then told Madison to be wary of Kate and Stefano. Jennifer and Daniel spent the evening with Bo and Hope and discovered that Alice had a connection to Susan Banks, E.J.'s biological mother. Brady visited John in jail and promised that he would stand by the family. Carrie and Rafe decided to team up to help John. Carrie told John that there might be a way to prove his innocence after all. Jack confided in Marlena about the horrors of his capture in Afghanistan, and the loss of a good friend. Abigail seemed delighted that Carrie and Austin decided to make Salem their permanent home. Gabi was surprised and confused that Will asked her to share an apartment with him. Later, she told him that he seemed unwilling to commit to a loving and sexual relationship and broke up with him. Will, unable to deal with Gabi's decision, went berserk and trashed Maggie's kitchen.
Kate took Sonny to the brownstone where he had grown up, to face his demons. Lulu was furious when she realized that Dante had requested to work on the Lisa Niles murder investigation. Mac granted Dante's request, but on the stipulation that Dante work with a partner, Delores. Maxie was frantic when Matt cancelled all of his appointments, and then seemingly disappeared. Shawn deduced that the symbols in Franco's tag were elements from the Periodic Table. Spinelli was able to determine that the symbols in the new tag were ancient, and that they related to "the bond to the creator." Sam put the clues together, including Franco's gift of a tiny wind-up baby doll to Josslyn, and realized that Franco might have tried to get her pregnant. Ethan talked to Alexis about the mystery man skulking around Spoon Island. The mystery man fell asleep in a chair facing the portrait of Laura, while he read a book, which had a sketch of Laura's portrait. Ethan managed to sneak up on the lady in white. Ethan admitted that the lady in white was not what he had expected. Shawn wanted to guard Carly and Josslyn around the clock, so Carly proposed that he move in with her. Robin visited Stone's bridge on the anniversary of his death. Later, Robin received the results of lab work that she had done in secret. Robin was shocked when Monica informed Robin that the board had relieved Robin of her chief of staff duties, because of the murder scandal. Robin decided to share a secret with Patrick. Elizabeth learned that Luke had driven Aiden to the hospital, so she angrily confronted Luke and Lucky about putting Aiden in a car with Luke.

Starr demanded that Rick retract the rumor that Rick had started about Starr and Nate having an affair, but Rick was intent on being compensated for the injuries that he claimed Starr, and her friends, had inflicted. The Evans' post-Thanksgiving dinner turned into a food fight as everyone began to argue. Bo and Nora were overjoyed when Matthew opened his eyes. Matthew recalled everything that had led up to the coma. Nora told Matthew about the agreement that she and Bo had made with Nate. Matthew learned that Destiny was pregnant, and that Nora had talked Destiny into keeping the baby. Destiny assured Matthew that the decision to have the baby had been hers, not Nora's. Brody urged Natalie to give Liam the family with John that Liam deserved. Todd became nervous when Blair called John to report that Tomas was missing. Natalie questioned the timing of Tomas' disappearance after she learned that Blair had picked Tomas over Todd. The police recovered a gun when they searched Tomas' things. Natalie advised Shane to try to forgive Jack for what had happened to Gigi, but Shane continued to seethe with rage, because Jack acted as if everything were fine. Neela was shocked when Shane accused Jack of murdering Gigi. Todd was horrified to realize that Jack had started the fire at the Sun, so he took steps to protect his son from criminal charges. The woman with Gigi's face remained determined to get her "old face" back. Cutter was stunned when the plastic surgeon revealed that Kim's friend had never had plastic surgery, so she was not Stacy Morasco. Cutter realized that Kim's friend was actually Gigi.

Restless Style story that fingered Nikki as Diane's murderer. Tucker lashed out at Kay for returning Harmony to Genoa City. Adam denied knowledge of the syringe in Victor's safe. Deacon told Nikki that he'd seen her in town over the summer. Billy bought
Restless Style back from Nick. When Ashley learned that Tucker's therapist was Emily, Jack's ex-fiancée, Tucker agreed to find another doctor. Ronan questioned Nikki and learned she had motives to kill Diane. Nikki began drinking and confessed to Victor that she had murdered Diane. Victor protected Nikki by claiming that he'd killed Diane and got Adam to back up his assertion. Victor was arrested. Phyllis left town. Abby invested in Devon's music business. Nick and Victoria agreed to go into business together. Chloe and Kevin decided to buy a house. Emily returned to Genoa City and made contact with Paul and Jack. Patty saw Jack with Emily.
