Madison and Brady grew closer during Johnny's search and rescue. Will saw Sami and E.J. having sex, but he was too shocked and disappointed to confront her. Sami's guilt haunted her as she celebrated Johnny's safe return with Rafe. Rafe walked in on Will blasting Sami for leaving the family when they needed her the most. Nicole and Madison had a heart-to-heart talk. Nicole decided to give her relationship with E.J. another chance, but she was unaware of E.J.'s recent tryst with Sami. Austin and Abigail's budding friendship spelled trouble for Chad and Carrie. Abe, Lexie, and friends prepared Thanksgiving meals for the homeless. Jennifer, thinking that Jack was up to his old tricks, apologized to him after he told her that he had been offered a teaching job at Salem University. Melanie confided to Daniel that there might be someone new in her life. Maggie celebrated Thanksgiving dinner with Victor, Daniel, and Melanie. Hope grilled Stefano about the connection between him and Alice. The judge handed John 50 years in prison with no chance for parole, which would amount to a life sentence. Marlena was devastated after John's sentence and inconsolable at the thought of spending her life without him.
Matt and Maxie reconnected as lovers, while they picked out clothes for the magazine spread. Sonny invited Kate for a tropical getaway, so that he could finalize his divorce from Brenda, but Kate wasn't interested in being Sonny's consolation prize. Sonny arranged to obtain his divorce another way, and then suggested that he and Kate go to New York City. Shawn confessed that Carly was the most interesting person that he knew. Carly was startled when Shawn readily accepted her invitation to Thanksgiving dinner. Shawn surprised Carly by cooking a traditional Thanksgiving dinner for her. Jason left a threatening message for Franco. Sam remained edgy after returning from Hawaii. Michael found himself on the wrong end of Sam's defensive move when he inadvertently startled her. Sam talked to Michael about his rape, without revealing what had happened to her. Monica stopped by the penthouse to tell Sam about Jason's visit with Elizabeth, and to invite Sam and Jason to Thanksgiving dinner at the Quartermaine mansion. Things did not go as planned when Jason and Sam arrived at the mansion. Lucky returned from Ireland. Maggie informed Lucky that Aiden would make a full recovery, because Aiden had received a life-saving blood transfusion. Lucky went to the
Haunted Star to thank Luke for driving Aiden to the hospital; however, Lucky left when he saw Luke staring at an opened bottle of scotch. Sparks flew when Johnny met Officer Delores Padilla. Dante collapsed after chasing a suspect fleeing from a waterfront warehouse.

Rick was forced to face the wrath of Starr, James, Nate, and Dani when they confronted Rick about a false rumor that Rick had started. John and Brody put their guns down, so that they could talk about Liam. Brody explained that Liam had saved him after Brody had learned the truth about Ryder. Brody denied that he had killed Victor, because Brody couldn't take a father away from his children. Brody was taken to St. Ann's for treatment. Rex and Aubrey tracked Cutter, and his partner, to a plastic surgeon's office in Brazil. The woman with Gigi's face stopped Cutter from strangling his mother, Alex Olanov. Alex wanted to make amends for abandoning her son, but the woman with Gigi's face insisted that they leave the doctor's office before they were discovered. Cutter turned to his mother for help. Cutter wove a tale about Alex having had plastic surgery to resemble Gigi. Rex pretended to believe Cutter's lies, to buy some time. Dani was thrilled when Téa told her about the pregnancy. Dani vowed to help take care of Téa. Blair insisted that she loved Tomas, but Starr questioned if Blair loved Todd more. Todd threatened to plant Tomas' fingerprints on the gun that had killed Victor. Baker arrived to help Todd, but Tomas warned them that Calmar knew of the meeting. Baker bragged that Calmar had been captured. The mayor fired Bo, so Bo's fellow officers lined up to salute Bo as he left his office for the last time. Bo and Nora spent Thanksgiving with their son, Matthew. As the Thanksgiving holiday drew to a close, Matthew flatlined.

Phyllis told Avery that their parents had forced her to leave home. Victoria forgave Billy when he confessed his indiscretions. Patty drugged Jack and Genevieve's food so she could cuddle with Jack. Avery admitted her father was guilty of his crimes. Adam ordered Patty to leave town. Billy reunited with Delia and his family. Victoria was incensed to learn about Victor's machinations involving Billy. After Sofia said yes, Neil had second thoughts about having proposed to her. Neil lashed out at Harmony trying to inject herself back into Devon's life. Tucker and Ashley left on their honeymoon. Ronan received a tip that there was evidence of Diane's murder at Newman Enterprises. Victoria blasted Victor for destroying her marriage. Chloe was angry with Kevin for lying to her about Billy. Cane celebrated Thanksgiving with Lily and the twins. Jill was ticked off that Kay had invited Harmony to live with them. Chloe made up with Kevin and told Angelina to keep her hands off Chloe's man. Adam outwitted Patty by using the evidence from Diane's murder that she had planted in Adam's desk to frame Victor. Victoria quit her job and walked out on Victor. Nikki arrived home from rehab and went to the ranch, looking for Victor. Ronan found the incriminating evidence in Victor's safe. Victor was shocked when Ronan arrested him.
