May Sweeps was kind to CBS's daytime lineup. All five of the network's programs saw ratings increases.
CBS's iconic eye logo was definitely apropos for the 2013-2014 television season. Ratings for all of the network's daytime programs were up substantially over the previous year.
Mostly impressively, with 3.89 million viewers, The Bold and the Beautiful recorded its most-watched season since 2007-2008. The total marked a ten-percent increase over least season.
The Young and the Restless rose eight percent in viewership to 5.24 million. Y&R posted its largest audience for a season since 2009-2010 and its best May Sweeps numbers since 2011.
In non-soap ratings news, The Talk
and Let's Make A Deal
had their largest audiences ever. The Price is Right
had its largest viewing audience since the 2009-2010 season.
