To cast your votes, please click on any of the links provided below. You'll automatically be taken to the appropriate soap's final ballot. Please remember that you can vote in as many soap sections as you'd like, but you can only vote once per soap. Over the past few weeks, soap fans from around world -- Afghanistan to Zimbabwe, according to our records -- nominated the best of the best of soaps.


That means that it's again time for the soapcentral.com Awards's final ballot for each of the nine soaps, affectionately known as the Dankies after soapcentral.com founder Dan Kroll. The Dankies honor the best of the soaps -- and are the only awards where the nominees and winners are determined by you, the soap opera fan.

If you are unfamiliar with the Dankies process, please take a few minutes to read over the information below. It will help you understand a little bit about how the awards are conducted and how the winners are determined.

Please remember that before you can cast your nominations or votes you will need to sign up for a FREE soapcentral.com username and password. It will take just a few moments to do so and it's totally free. If you have already signed up for your account, you're ready to start the voting.


PHASE ONE: Now Complete (January 16, 2012 through February 1, 2012)

In the first phase of the balloting, all soapcentral.com users are able to nominate their choices in a variety of categories, including Outstanding Lead Actor, Favorite Character and Most Missed Performer.

Visitors can make nominations for any and all soaps that they watch. This means that you can cast nominations in more than one soap's Dankies ballot.


PHASE TWO: Currently Under Way (February 13, 2012 through March 12, 2012) Click here to vote

In the second phase of voting, the top vote-getters in each category from the nominations phase are placed on a final ballot. soapcentral.com visitors are then able to cast their votes on the final ballot - anyone can vote... whether or not you voted in Phase One.

Visitors can vote for any and all soaps that they watch.

In addition to the opening of the final ballot, special news coverage will be provided to cover the results of the nominations.


PHASE THREE (March 19, 2012 through April 16, 2012

In this phase, the winners of each category from each soap will be entered into a final all-soaps ballot. So, for example, the winners of the Outstanding Lead Actress categories from All My Children through The Young and the Restless will battle it out for the top spot.

In addition to the opening of the all-soaps ballot, each soap will offer comprehensive coverage of Dankies voting and results.
