ABC Stars of ABC Daytime in LA-based musical benefit

The stars of ABC Daytime will be taking to the stage of the Renberg Theatre next month for a series of one-of-a-kind performances to benefit the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center. The three performances will be held on October 7, 9, and 10 at helf rause much-needed funds for the Jeffrey Goodman Special Care Clinic.


For the first time, the stars of All My Children and General Hospital will appear on-stage in Kander & Ebb's award-winning musical revue, The World Goes 'Round. The performances will feature All My Children's Bobbie Eakes (Krystal Carey), Chrishell Stause (Amanda Dillon), and and Natalie Hall (Colby Chandler) as well as General Hospital's Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli) and Brandon Barash (Johnny Zacharra).


The World Goes 'Round takes its name from a tune the songwriting team wrote for Liza Minnelli to sing in the film New York, New York. This revue follows in the great tradition of ABC's annual benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS in New York City.


In addition to featuring soap stars on-stage, another ABC Daytime actor not performing who will serve as host for each performance. The host will welcome the audience, take questions and offer exclusive storyline previews for future episodes of All My Children, General Hospital, and One Life to Live.


All My Children's Cameron Mathison (Ryan Lavery) will serve as emcee on Thursday, October 7, Christina Bennett Lind (Bianca Montgomery) hosts the Saturday, October 9 performance, and Walt Willey (Jackson Montgomery) performs hosting duties on Sunday, October 10.

For patrons who purchase VIP-level tickets, there will be a private reception following each performance with the host and the entire cast.
