America's Next Top Model Is ...

At the hotel, the girls received a Tyra Mail. It read, "Be on point tomorrow or you can kiss this competition goodbye!" When the girls received scripts, they grew excited because they knew that the Cover Girl commercial would soon be underway.

The next day, Jay Manuel told the finalists they would get the opportunity to prove that they could be Cover Girls. Along with the famous Cover Girl commercial, the contestants would also take care part in a photo shoot. The winner of the competition would be featured in a national advertisement that would be displayed in Wal-Mart stores throughout the country.

McKey, the winner of Cycle 11, explained that the finalists would promote Cover Girl's new product, Outlast Lipstain. Jay told the girls that the judges expected them to display personality.

Jay advised Aminat to move the muscles of her face more when she spoke. After Jay's instruction, Aminat deliver a great performance. Photographer Jim de Yonker loved Aminat's look, but thought she needed to mature more as a model.

Once in front of the camera, Allison completely forgot her lines. After a few takes, Allison showed progress. Jay acknowledged that Allison had vastly improved since her last commercial, but feared she might not possess the qualities required of a cover girl.

Teyona's nerves got the best of her and she broke down in tears. Jay encouraged her to continue, and she managed to finish the commercial. Jay suggested that Teyona forget her disastrous commercial and perform well at her photo shoot. Teyona took Jay's advice and came alive during the shoot. Jim loved her energy. Jim thought Teyona had a spark on set that made her enjoyable to work with.

Back at the hotel, while Aminat thought she did a great job and was certain that she would be one of the remaining two girls, Teyona thought she had let the competition slip away from her.

The next day, the finalists arrived at panel to receive their critiques. Tyra announced that they would eliminate one girl. The remaining two finalists would walk in a Rosa Cha fashion show. Amir Slama, the designer for Rosa Cha, was introduced as a guest judge. After the elimination, the final two would pose for their Cover Girl shot and later walk the runway.

The judges critiqued the girls' commercials.

When the judges questioned why Teyona's commercial fell short, Teyona cried and admitted that her nerves had taken over. Although they were horrified by her commercial, the judges loved her photo. Nigel thought she was focused, and Tyra loved how Teyona smiled with her eyes in the picture.

The judges related that Allison's commercial was mediocre, but they were impressed by her still shot. Amir thought she looked sexy. Tyra said that Allison's photo proved that she was capable of being a commercial model and praised her work.

The judges thought Aminat had the strongest commercial of all the girls, but they weren't impressed with her photo. Tyra insisted that Aminat didn't know how to control the muscles in her face.

The girls left and the judges deliberated.

The judges commented that Teyona's performance in the commercial was dreadful and wondered if her only strength was in pictures. Amir didn't think Allison had the height to succeed on the catwalk. Nigel stressed that Aminat's presence was stunning. Paulina acknowledged that Amiant possessed a great deal of potential but hadn't learned how to photograph her face properly.

The girls returned to learn the judges' decision.

Allison was told that she had performed the best. Aminat and Teyona were asked to step forward. Tyra said that Aminat needed to learn how to master her face. Teyona was told that her failure to deliver a good commercial concerned the judges.

Aminat was sent home and Teyona was chosen to continue on.

At the photo shoot, Ann Shoket, the editor-in-chief of Seventeen magazine, raved over Allison and Teyona's performances. Stressing that the remaining finalists did a wonderful job, Ann said that she had never witnessed such a tight competition for the cover of Seventeen magazine.

The next morning, the girls arrived at the site of the Rosa Cha fashion show. Jay advised the girls to portray sex appeal and told the girls that they were to perform the "Brazilian stomp" on the catwalk.

Allison knew she had a weak walk but insisted that she had been practicing. Teyona was certain that she would deliver a confident walk.

Dressed in swimsuits, the girls strutted down the catwalk. The judges were impressed with Teyona, but commented that Allison looked awesome. At one point, J. Alexander stood up and danced in front of Allison and she responded by flirting with him. The judges loved it. However, when J. Alexander danced in front of Teyona, she totally ignored him.

The finale involved the girls being smeared in oil. Along with the other models, the girls crawled on the floor in a seductive manner. Both girls did great, but when Teyona's ponytail fell off, she responded by twirling it in the air. Tyra loved it.

At panel, the judges critiqued the girls' performances at the fashion show as well as their past body of work.

The girls' critiques were dead even.

Tyra insisted that the judges had to choose between two amazing models with two very distinct and different looks. The judges admitted that they didn't expect much from Allison on the runway, but said that they were blown away by her performance. Paulina stated that she expected a great deal more from Teyona. Nigel commented that Teyona had the best walk, but stressed that Allison had the most improved walk.

Tyra loved Allison's playfulness on the catwalk and commented that Teyona appeared a bit stiff at times. While Tyra was pleased with Allison's sex appeal, Teyona's actions on the oil slick impressed Tyra. J. Alexander thought Allison would succeed on the international circuit. Paulina said that Allison had progressed more than any other contestant. Nigel was adamant that Teyona deserved to be in the final two because she had delivered stunning pictures throughout the competition.

Nigel said that he loved both girls for totally different reasons. Nigel said that he had never seen anyone transform to the degree that Allison and Teyona had.

After the deliberation, Tyra announced that Teyona, the twenty-year-old, loss prevention representative from Woodstown, New Jersey, was America's Next Top Model.
