American Idol executive producer Ken Warwick dismisses claims that it is unfair for previously signed recording acts to compete on the FOX realty series. Last year, Carly Hennesy made it to the top twelve, even though she'd previously recorded an album. This season, there is another female artist in the running who isn't exactly "undiscovered."
