Miguel is upset that Kay has broken it off with him, so he decides to leave town and ask Charity to marry him, but Tabitha might have something to say about that. She gives Miguel some love potion, so that he could lust after Kay once again; however, Miguel is lusting after Charity. Tabitha has to take action and soon. She jumps on Miguel and hit him over the head with a pot to prevent him from going off to find Charity, but nothing seems to be working. Tabitha manages to conjure up something heavy enough to hit Miguel on the head, and she succeeds. Now, Tabitha has to give Kay a love potion so that she can lust after Miguel. She casts a spell so that she could give Kay the potion and also gives Miguel another dose. Tabitha is astonished that Miguel is lusting after her instead of Kay. She manages to turn things around so that Miguel would go after Kay. Miguel chases after Kay, and they make mad passionate love.

Fox is trying to convince Julian that he is getting the real drug and not the Placebo, but Julian thinks it's all in his head because he knows that he paid off the nurse so that Fox won't get the real drug. Fox is convinced that he is getting the real treatment because his hair is falling out.

Jared is hyperventilating after his heated conversation with Ethan. The blackmailer sends Theresa a message to make sure that she marries Jared. Ivy overhears that Theresa will be marrying Jared, so Ethan won't be in the picture, and she is overjoyed by the news. Ivy tells Ethan to live with the fact that Theresa loves Jared and will be marrying him. She also reminds him that Theresa has destroyed his life.

If Fancy finds Sheridan with Luis, she will be one sorry aunt. She is looking all over Harmony for the Crane Executive apartment. Meanwhile, Sheridan is in the Crane apartment kissing Luis, but they are interrupted by a telephone call. Sheridan decides to take a shower, and she fantasizes about Luis being with her in the shower. Sheridan pretends that the hot water is not functioning well, so that she could get Luis to join her in the shower. What Sheridan did not expect is Fancy showing up and telling her that she is a scheming bitch. Sheridan is shocked out of her mind with disappointment.

Julian questions Ethan's hold over Theresa, but Ethan doesn't care what Julian thinks. Ethan expresses his disappoint to Julian regarding Theresa marrying Jared. Ethan is confused about Theresa's motive for marrying Jared, and he smells a rat. In addition, he thinks that Theresa is as conniving as Alistair in that she never does anything without an ulterior motive.

Jared is ecstatic about his impending marriage to Theresa, but he questions why Theresa is crying. Theresa tells him that she is crying because she is excited, but the real reason Theresa is crying is because she is being blackmailed by the mystery person. Eve walks in the room and tells Jared that he cannot marry Theresa because he is still sick. That news will not deter Theresa from marrying Jared, even if she has to marry him without Eve finding out. Eve is angry. She walks out and demands that Whitney gives her an answer as to why Theresa is in such a rush to marry Jared when he is ill, and the fact that she is still in love with Ethan. Whitney does not reveal Theresa's secret. Theresa prays that Ethan will never find out that she is marrying Jared. Ethan appears out of nowhere, and he tells Theresa that he is aware that she is marrying Jared and demands to know why she is going through with it. Theresa tells Ethan that it's none of his business. Ethan pulls Theresa into a kiss and tells her that he is the only man that she loves. Theresa pulls away and tells him that the love is gone and that Jared is the man for her. Shortly afterwards, Theresa receives a message from the blackmailer confirming that she will go through with the wedding with Jared, within the next hour.

Whitney brings Theresa's trousseau so that she can prepare for her wedding. Jared is ecstatic that he is finally marrying Theresa. Jared doesn't have a best man, so Theresa pays an orderly $500 to stand in as a witness. Ethan looks on pitifully as Jared marries the woman of his dreams.

Julian meets up with Eve in the hospital corridor, and Julian asks her if Valerie had contacted her about their son. Eve is too distraught to discuss it because she was told that Chad is her son, and it turned out to be untrue, so Eve does not want to get disappointed all over again. In addition, she and Julian aren't together anyone, so that makes it even more stressful for Eve. Julian assures Eve that he will do everything in his power to help find their son.

Fancy goes to the Crane apartments to look for Luis, and she accuses Sheridan of trying to steal Luis away from her. Sheridan keeps telling Fancy to stay away from Luis because Fancy cannot make Luis as happy as Sheridan can. Luis hears a commotion and decides to check it out. Sheridan informs Luis that Fancy is getting too attached to the situation. Fancy looks around the apartment and wonders if she is interrupting anything. Luis makes it very clear that nothing is going on between him and Sheridan. Fancy doesn't trust Sheridan, so she mentions to Luis that Sheridan is just like her grandfather, Alistair. She has cold water running through her veins. Sheridan reminds Fancy that the same blood is running through her veins. Fancy and Sheridan continue to fight, so Sheridan uses the opportunity to bring up Pretty, Fancy's sister. Luis knows nothing about Pretty, so he asks Sheridan to tell him the story about Pretty. Fancy appears nervous.

Jessica is in the hospital having memories of a half man half woman, while outside her room; Paloma, Sam, Simone and Noah discuss an intervention. Spike shows up and tries to see her. Sam stops him, but he insists that he has more rights than Sam does, as her father. Sam insists that Spike leave or he will be arrested. Spike insults everyone and leaves, but not before getting in several cheap shots about Simone and Rae. The toxicology reports show that Jessica was not high on drugs or alcohol. Jessica continues to remember the" thing" that she saw. Her friends and family still think that she is hallucinating, but don't know why. Sam wants to take her home, but Spike is listening and does not intend to let that happen. Once they return to the Bennett's house, Sam is called away. Noah, Paloma and Simone try to intervene with Jessica so that she will leave her abusive situation. Spike lurks outside trying to figure out how to lure Jessica away. After the intervention, Jessica goes to her room to rest. Paloma, Noah and Simone talk downstairs. Simone leaves to prepare for Rae's funeral. Noah and Paloma commiserate downstairs as Spike creeps out of Jessica's closet.

Luis asks Fancy about what happened to her sister Pretty. Fancy avoids answering and instead blames Sheridan from trying to break them up. Sheridan says that she loves both her nieces. Luis decides that he doesn't have to know about what happened with Pretty because all families have issues. Chris has followed Fancy and listens outside the door. Sheridan continues to insist that she is afraid that what happened between Fancy and Pretty will happen between Sheridan and Fancy. Fancy says that Sheridan is twisting everything and starts to hyperventilate. Chris hears everything. He calls the police to tell them where Luis is and disguises his voice. Fancy, Sheridan and Luis hear sirens. Before they can react, they hear Sam at the door. Chris hides in the hallway and gloats. He is confident that once Sam has Luis in custody, he will be out of Sheridan's life for good. Inside the apartment, Luis tells Fancy to arrest him.

Judge Riley begins the wedding ceremony, but stops it because Theresa is so distraught. Ethan looks on through the door. He does not believe that Theresa really wants to marry Jared because he knows that Theresa loves him. Inside the room, Theresa has the judge start the ceremony. She is desperate to marry so that the blackmailer does not tell her secret. Theresa imagines that she is marrying Ethan, not Jared. The judge catches her daydreaming and tries to give her more time, but she insists that the ceremony continue. She says her vows to Jared, but sees Ethan in his place. Just as Judge Riley is about to pronounce them married, Jared passes out. As Eve and other doctors work to save Jared, Theresa blames herself. In the corridor, Whiney tries to comfort her as Ethan looks on. Eve rushes Jared to surgery, fearful that his death is imminent.

Chris pretends to have just arrived, but Fancy quickly realizes he was the one who tipped off the police to Luis' whereabouts. While no one is looking, Fancy allows Luis to escape. Sheridan finds Luis and demands he get in her car so she can help him get away.

Time and time again Jessica keeps falling for Spike's manipulations. He keeps telling her that she is all alone, and Jessica buys it. Paloma goes to the Bennett house to give support to Jessica. Spike is tormenting Jessica, so she goes downstairs for support, but Paloma is making out with Noah. Jessica takes that as a sign that she is all alone and no one to look out for her, so she goes back upstairs to put up with more of spike's emotional abuse. Meanwhile, Paloma is ready for Noah to make love to her, but Noah is hesitant. He wants it to be some place special and not in his father's living room. Besides, he does not want to move too fast because of what happened with Fancy. He wants to get to know Paloma first.

Sam puts out an APB on Luis. Fancy is sure that Sheridan is the one helping Luis to escape. She tells Chris that Sheridan is very manipulative since that's all she knew growing up with Alistair and Julian. Fancy is worried that the longer Sheridan is with Luis, the better chance she has at stealing Luis away from her. Meanwhile, Sheridan has taken Luis to the Crane cabin for refuge. Sheridan cries and runs a guilt trip on herself to gain sympathy from Luis. Luis rushes to the bedroom to comfort Sheridan. She places herself in Luis' arms so that she could get him in a compromising position, and by golly it worked. Luis ends up kissing her.

Theresa is frantic about Jared, but Eve assures her that Jared is going to be just fine. Jared wants to continue the ceremony, but Eve tells him to postpone it because of his health. Ethan is relieved because he thinks he has a chance to talk Theresa into marrying him instead of Jared. Ethan overhears Theresa on the phone with the blackmailer, so he knows someone is forcing her to marry Jared and not him. Ethan demands to know who is forcing Theresa's hand. Ethan wants to know if it has anything to do with the secret she is keeping from him since Rome, and Theresa denies it. Jared lies to Theresa and tells her that Eve gave him the go ahead to marry.

Valerie tells Eve and Julian that she has found their son. Julian is amazed that Valerie was able to get information on their son that quickly. Well, Alistair has always prevented the flow of information. In this instance, Valerie called in some favors. In any event, Valerie tells Eve and Julian that their child was brutally abused.

Chad is worried that Whitney suspects something about his affair, but it turns out that Whitney thinks that Chad is jealous of Vincent having a crush on her. Whew...what a relief for Chad. Valerie finally shows up and tells Whitney how great Vincent is in bed, and it's quite obvious that Chad feels uncomfortable. Whitney confronts Chad about it, and he plays it off.
