Ivy told Whitney, who struggled with the deceptive plan for her unborn child, that the biggest mistake she ever made was trying to pass Ethan off as Julian's son. Trusting fate to bring them together, Theresa informed Ethan that she would demand a DNA test to prove the child she carried belonged to her. Paloma sided with Mrs. Wheeler and Martin when she learned Martin was her father. Pilar felt as though she had failed as a mother, and questioned the very faith she had put in her husband. Ivy tells Sam about Theresa's decision to have the procedure done. Together they drink champagne and celebrate the soon arrival of their new grandchild. Ivy tells Sam that she never thought she'd be this happy. The phone rings and Ivy answers it—it's Grace, wanting to talk to Sam.

Whitney tries to convince Theresa to give up her plan to get Ethan back, but Theresa is dead set on keeping the baby. Whitney warns Theresa that she wouldn't blame Gwen if Gwen went crazy and tried to kill her. The nurse arrives and tells Theresa the steps she needs to take to ensure that the baby will be healthy. Whitney asks her about the risks of incestuous babies, and the nurse informs her that they have a higher risk of getting many diseases. Ethan, Gwen, Rebecca, Whitney and Theresa go back to the Crane mansion. Rebecca tells Whitney to deliver a message to Theresa: if she ever hurts Gwen again, Rebecca will make her sorry she was ever born, and Theresa will never see Little Ethan again.

A furious Sheridan has an emotional confrontation with Martin and "Mrs. Wheeler." Mrs. Wheeler comes close to telling her the truth, but decides not to when Sheridan yells that she is nothing like her mother--she is just a lying whore! Sheridan runs out of the cottage. Paloma arrives at the cottage hoping to talk to her mother but instead finds Luis comforting Sheridan and demands to know what is wrong. Pilar tells Martin that it is his fault she had to send baby Paloma away, and he is not the father their children deserved—she says they will never understand. Luis tells Paloma that the man she thought was Mr. Wheeler is really their Papa, and Paloma is so shocked that she faints.

The distrust Rebecca feels toward Theresa is nearly confirmed when Whitney and Gwen unknowingly walk in on Ethan giving seductive Theresa a sensual back massage.

Paloma faints when she discovers Martin, the man that raised her as a father, is in fact her biological father.

Martin uses the reactions to his newly discovered identity as a deterrent to Katherine, saying she will face similar backlash if she reveals herself to her children.

Eve shows up at the Russell house with the signed divorce papers to find Liz and TC packing up all of Eve's pictures. TC snarls that he and the girls don't want anything to do with her. Eve hands TC the papers and is about to leave when she decides she has something to say. She says that she is tired of being the villain-she made mistakes she regrets, but she didn't ruin their marriage all by herself. When Liz asks her if she is blaming TC, Eve replies that she is blaming Liz. Liz accuses Eve of cheating on TC by kissing Julian and Eve doesn't deny it but reveals that she saw Liz and TC kissing in the youth center. Eve leaves with the promise that she won't bother TC again.

Ethan tries to impress upon Theresa that no matter whose baby she's carrying, he won't leave Gwen. Theresa insists that once their baby is born, Ethan will come back to her because it's Fate. She tells him that there is no way she is giving up the baby, and she is going to have a DNA test done. Ethan thinks that she is delusional and asks her why she can't see that her plot will just cause heartache for everyone involved?

Rebecca finds Gwen looking through the baby books she had started to put together for baby Sarah and the twins. Rebecca reminds Gwen that the reason she lost her babies was Theresa and warns her that Theresa has an ulterior motive. Gwen asks her to please stop putting Theresa down, and tells her mother that all she cares about is her baby.

Paloma continues to defend "Mrs. Wheeler" and Martin. She tells Pilar that Mrs. Wheeler is more like a mother to her than Pilar will ever be. Luis says that Mrs. Wheeler is nothing but a lowlife tramp who stole Martin away from his wife and five children. He tells Paloma that if she wants someone to blame for her being sent away, she should blame Mrs. Wheeler because she was the one who made Martin leave. He says Mrs. Wheeler is lucky he doesn't kill her. Sheridan defends Mrs. Wheeler and insists that they should not judge anyone before they have all the facts. Luis can't believe that she'd stick up for Mrs. Wheeler over him, the man she supposedly loves.
