Daytime newcomer Michael Tipps played the charming Al Holden, a young man looking for love and trying to leave the pain of his father's betrayal behind him. He began his One Life to Live role in May, 2001.

Tipps was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and studied acting in his home state before landing work in commercials and a role on the television series, Miami Sands.

In his spare time, Tipps enjoys basketball and running, and is especially interested in aviation and aircraft. One Life to Live
