Brandon Buddy
Cole Thornhart
October 10, 2006 to
November 10, 2010
Buddy was born in Austin, Texas. He spent the first two years of his life in Texas before moving to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. His father was in the hospitality industry; therefore, Buddy's childhood was spent relocating from city to city. At the age of 9, he moved to Augusta, Georgia, where he stayed until the age of 13. Columbus, South Carolina, was the next stop, followed by a move to Halifax, Nova Scotia. After a year in Canada, he returned to Florida, this time to Winter Haven. Upon graduating high school, he returned to his birth state, but this time settling in San Antonio.
Up until this point, Buddy's acting career consisted of a role in a high school production of
Guys & Dolls for which his sister forced him to audition. At the age of 18, while in San Antonio, he met a manager who encouraged him to move to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.
During his 18 months in L.A., he was cast in the pilot,
Hero's Welcome and a Dangerous Muse music video. Also during this time, he auditioned for the role of Cole Thornhart on
One Life to Live. He moved one more time, this time cross-country for his contract role on OLTL.
In his free time, Brandon enjoys hanging out will fellow OLTL cast members, playing football, catching movies, or working out.
