OLTL alum Laura Harrier cast in new Spider-Man reboot

Former One Life to Live star Laura Harrier (ex-Destiny Evans) has landed a mystery role in Sony and Marvel Studios' reboot film, Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Big news for One Life to Live alum Laura Harrier (ex-Destiny Evans): the actress has landed a role in Sony and Marvel Studios' upcoming reboot film, Spider-Man: Homecoming.

The Wrap reports that the actress has been cast in an unspecified "significant" role in the Jon Watts-directed reboot of the classic comic that already has Tom Holland signed on in the title role, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, and Zendaya as a character named Michelle. Michael Keaton is reportedly in talks to join the film as a villain, but that has yet to be confirmed.

Spider-Man: Homecoming was written by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein and is set to focus on Peter Parker's high school days. Rumor has it the film will be reminiscent of John Hughes's classic high school films.

Harrier played the part of OLTL's Destiny in 2013 before going on to star in the Anna Kendrick musical The Last 5 Years and the indie comedy 4th Man Out.
