OLTL's Corbin Bleu joins Dancing With The Stars

The latest season of ABC's Dancing With The Stars continues its tradition of having a soap star in the cast. This season, the reality show has two soap vets: DAYS's Brant Daugherty and OLTL's Corbin Bleu.

The cast for the 17th installment of ABC's dancing reality series, Dancing With The Stars, has been announced -- and the twelve-member roster includes two celebs with soap ties.

One Life to Live's Corbin Bleu (Jeffrey King) won't have to worry about what to do with his down time now that the series is on an indefinite hiatus. The High School Musical vet will be hoofing it up with his partner Karina Smirnoff.

Days of our Lives alum Brant Daugherty (ex-Brian) will partner with Peta Murgatroyd. Daugherty can now be seen on Lifetime's Army Wives.

The rest of the cast includes Showgirls star Elizabeth Berkley, so-called blue collar comic Bill Engval, actress Valerie Harper, All Pro wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson, singer Christina Milian, Sharon and Ozzy's son Jack Osbourne, Bill Nye "The Science Guy," Jersey Shore's Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, and King Of Queens actress Leah Remini

Soap stars have been quite successful in past seasons: General Hospital's Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall) competed in the inaugural season of the competition -- and won, taking home the show's coveted mirror ball trophy in 2005. In 2011, All My Children's JR Martinez (Brot Monroe) was crowned the winner of the 13th installment.

In 2007, Cameron Mathison (Ryan Lavery) competed in the show's fifth season, finishing in fifth place. One year later, Susan Lucci (Erica Kane) competed and finished in seventh place. In 2010, Aiden Turner (Aidan Devane) took part in the competition and landed in ninth place overall.

Jack Wagner (Frisco Jones) competed in season 14 and was the second star to be eliminated. General Hospital's Ingo Rademacher (Jasper Jacks) participated in season 16 and finished in fifth place. Former Days of our Lives star Lisa Rinna (ex-Billie Reed) and The Bold and the Beautiful veteran Mario Lopez (Christian Ramirez) have also taken part in the competition.

The new season of Dancing With The Stars debuts on Monday, September 16 at 8pm Eastern/7pm Central.
