Long-time One Life to Live favorite Kassie DePaiva is headed back to Llanview -- and she says OLTL's return would not have been possible had it not been for the fans. DePaiva assumed the role of Blair Cramer in 1993.

Can you keep a secret? One Life to Live's Kassie DePaiva (Blair Cramer) sure can. In a post on the actress' blog, DePaiva revealed that she's known that she would be reprising her Emmy-nominated role for about a month -- and that she first heard rumors of One Life to Live's planned resurrection back in the fall.

"So now I can officially say that Blair Cramer will be alive and kicking in Llanview, Pennsylvania aka One Life to Live," DePaiva wrote. "I can't begin to say how excited I am about this announcement and the possibilities in the future for One Life to Live. All I can truly say is the fans have been awesome throughout this entire process. And we are going to be back on the air only because of you and your tireless efforts and support for the show. When I heard the rumors late in the year last year I thought it was too good to be true. Because we have all been down this road before so it was a little scary to even hope. But thanks to Prospect Park for making it happen."

Yesterday, Prospect Park confirmed that more than a dozen stars will be reprising their OLTL roles when the series returns this spring. DePaiva, like fans, was thrilled to see the names of her former co-stars on the official press release

"As I read down the cast list I am thrilled to get to work with these wonderful people again.... in front of the camera and behind," DePaiva added. "OLTL has a special group of people and it truly feels like family. I know many of you are as excited as I am and have tons of questions and can't wait to see what the new show will look like. Well, we're all in the same boat and from what I hear it's going to be fun."

DePaiva made her first appearance as Blair in December 1993. She remained with the show through its final episode in January 2012. Since that time, DePaiva has made several guest appearances as Blair on ABC's General Hospital. In 2005, DePaiva received a nomination in the Outstanding Lead Actress category at the Daytime Emmys.
