Robin Strasser
Strasser heads back to Paris

Despite recent rumors, it appears that Robin Strasser (ex-Dorian Lord) will not be rejoining the cast of OLTL in the near future.

These rumors may have been sparked by Strasser's return to the United States. The actress had been studying French at the Sorbonne in Paris over the summer, but left before her final exam in order to fly back to California to be with her mother, who was ill at the time. Some wondered if her early return might also have something to do with Strasser resuming the role of Dorian in time for November sweeps. This turned out not to be the case, however, and Strasser recently returned to Paris to continue her studies.

While she was in California, Strasser won a guest-starring role on the ABC sitcom Dharma and Greg. The episode is scheduled to air on Tuesday, October 16.

Strasser did have a chance to stop by the OLTL studios in New York City on her way back to Paris and visit with the cast and crew. There is no word if she had an opportunity to meet with Gary Tomlin, the current executive producer of OLTL, or if her possible return was discussed.

The class that Strasser will now be taking is scheduled to end in February, making it very unlikely that she would return as Dorian for February Sweeps. However, May Sweeps might be a possibility assuming the show asks her to return to the role of Dorian and an agreement can be reached.
