Nicole Forester took over the role of Guiding Light's Cassie Layne Winslow on November 4, 2005.
Before Guiding Light, Nicole had recurring roles on Two and a Half Men, Will & Grace, Monk, and Beverly Hills 90210, among others. Most recently, she's worked with Saturday Night Live's Chris Kattan to develop a new sitcom for ABC.
When not working, Nicole works with charity organizations both in New York and Los Angeles, and sings in the acoustic trio, Telegraph Road. Nicole has a strong background in jazz and ballet, having studied musical theatre at Western Michigan University and performance at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She's also studied at the Goethe Institute in Schwabisch Hall, Germany, and at UCLA, where she became fluent in German.
