Phillip and Olivia turn a farewell hug into an entire make out session. Phillip gets a grip on himself and stops. He tells Olivia he will not sleep with his father's fiancé. Olivia asks Phillip to just say the word and she will call off the engagement to Alan. Phillip says the word he has for her is "goodbye." After a crying spell in the sand, Olivia recovers herself and calls a judge to marry her and Alan immediately.

Alan reminds Alexandra that her reign of Spaulding Enterprises is limited to just one week. She feels quite confident that she can accomplish quite a lot within that time frame. Alex asks Alan if he is really up for living with Olivia and Phillip in the same household. Alan reminds her of the prenuptial agreement that Olivia signed - If she cheats on Alan, the marriage is ended and she gets no money, no stock, no nothing. Alex isn't sure that a piece of paper is going to keep Phillip and Olivia apart, which is too bad really because it seems Alan truly does love Olivia. Well, as much as he 'truly loves' anyone. Alex throws over her shoulder as she is leaving that she has called a board meeting. Alan starts making phone calls and tells security at Spaulding Enterprises not to let Alex anywhere near his computer. Phillip arrives for a visit and Alan tells him about the board meeting. Phillip cannot believe that Alan gave his Aunt Alex the power of attorney. Alan tells Phillip that he did so because he cannot trust Phillip given what happened between Olivia and him. Phillip is apologetic again for the 'incident', and he is hurt that his father is unable to forgive him and unwilling to trust him with the company.

Harley and Blake await a phone call from a DMV contact who is suppose to deliver the identity of the mysterious Bruce - the mark from Eden's/Harley's blackmail job. Blake wants to know what her next task is, but Harley says while she appreciated Blake's help in the hotel, she no longer needs Blake's assistance. Of course, this doesn't go over well with Blake. Gus arrives and Blake takes off. While Harley and Gus are talking, Buzz comes by with the news that Phillip and Beth are broken up. Harley cannot imagine why Beth would move out of the mansion. Gus tells her he might have an idea. Gus confesses to Harley that he attempted to coerce Phillip into giving Zach back by saying he'd tell Beth why Alan had his heart attack. Harley doesn't have time to respond because Eden calls and summons her to Infierno for a little chat. She tells Gus it's new info on an old case and takes off. When Harley gets face to face with Eden it's just more of the same old threats and snarking. Except that Gus has followed Harley and overhears what's going on. He cannot believe Eden is working at Infierno and tells her to quit right now and leave with them. She declines his offer of running her life.

A distracted Marah has lunch at Company with her annoying new roommate. She excuses herself from the table when Tony walks in. He heard about Reva, and offers to use the Santos family connections to get a mellow judge on appeal. Marah turns him down. She asks Tony to take a walk. They head for the beach. Marah asks Tony how bad prison is. Tony says Reva is no killer, but Marah disagrees. They reminisce about Reva and Josh's wedding, remembering how happy everyone seemed. Marah thinks maybe it was all a dream, but Tony thinks that dreams can still come true. Marah disagrees; they must move forward. Marah leaves. Tony, remembering Marah's determination to move forward, pulls out Eden's telephone number. Marah calls Bill to inquire about moving in with him and Ben. Reva tries to figure out what to pack for prison, but Josh stops her. Cassie shows up at the house, angry that Reva changed her plea. Reva says it seemed like the right thing to do. Cassie asks if Reva is scared; Reva is terrified. Josh leaves them alone.

Cassie tells Reva not to give up. Reva thinks a trial would make things worse. Cassie doesn't want Reva to go to prison, but cannot forgive or forget what she did. Reva says she will survive prison. She tells Cassie that Richard would not want her to dwell on bitterness and loss. Cassie apologizes for not being on Reva's grieving timetable. Josh rushes outside. He believes Cassie is wallowing in self-pity. She can't blame everything wrong in her life on Reva. Cassie needs to consider what Richard went through. Cassie leaves. Josh apologizes for yelling at Cassie, but Reva is grateful for his defense. At the Beacon, Cassie cannot sleep because she remembers Richard telling her they had to thank Reva for everything she did for them.

At the hospital, Phillip and Olivia try to figure out where Alan is. Phillip realizes that Olivia was going to marry Alan tonight. Phillip is not happy about the wedding, but only because he is worried about Alan getting hurt by Olivia. He warns Olivia that being hurt (by Phillip) is not enough reason to get married. Olivia denies that Phillip had that much of an affect on her. At the Spaulding mansion, Alexandra catches Alan on the computer. He denies plotting against her. She warns him to keep their agreement confidential. Olivia and Phillip return to the house. They find Alex/Alan in the study. Phillip is suspicious about Alex running the company. Olivia, hearing the news for the first time, is angry. Alex accuses Phillip of becoming just like Alan because he needs to control everything and everyone. Phillip yells at Alex to cancel the meeting because the stress will kill Alan. She refuses.

Alan returns to the hospital with Alex. She asks if Olivia is really worth all the trouble. Alan is tired of ending up alone and has waited all his life for a woman like Olivia. Alex offers to throw Alan a spectacular wedding. Back at the mansion, Phillip notes that Olivia failed to tell Alan about the surprise wedding. She tells Phillip that she still intends to marry Alan. Phillip can't believe she would get married to a man who would lie, cheat and steal to keep her. Olivia is happy that Alan would do anything to keep her, and she toasts the Spaulding family.
