December 2002 GL Names John Conboy As New EP John Conboy has been named the new executive producer of Guiding Light. Conboy succeeds Paul Rauch who stepped down last month after six years at the show's helm.

December 2002 GL Names Ellen Weston as Head Writer Ellen Weston has been named the new head writer of Guiding Light. She succeeds Lloyd "Lucky" Gold, who was relieved of his duties earlier this year, and Millei Taggart, who announced that she would step down because of personal reasons.

December 2002 Santiago out as mobster Carmen Saundra Santiago (Carmen Santos) will once again be exiting Guiding Light. Though the actress' final scenes have not yet aired, there's talk that she might be headed to All My Children.
