Gina Tognoni returning to One Life to Live Gina Tognoni will return to One Life to Live in the role of Kelly Cramer, a role she originated in 1995. Since leaving the ABC soap in 2001, Tognoni has appeared as Dinah Marler on Guiding Light, a role that won her two Daytime Emmys. Another Emmy winner, Heather Tom, most recently portrayed Kelly. Did the change of production model doom Guiding Light? » The story: Zimmer speaks on the end of GL and her future Yes. Zimmer's right. The new model cut too many costs and ruined the show. No. If anything, the new model probably extended GL's time on the air. No. Poor writing created stories that no one wanted to tune in to see. I don't think the production format helped, but it wasn't the sole reason. I have no idea why the show was cancelled, so I can't offer my opinion. Other
