At A Glance
Cynthia Preston joined the cast of General Hospital in December 2002.

Cynthia wasn't actually planning on being an actress growing up. She actually got into acting when she was still attending high school in Canada. By the suggestion of her mother, Cynthia took a self-improvement course to overcome her extreme shyness. Thanks to this, Cynthia took up modeling at the age of fifteen. After graduating from high school, Cynthia auditioned for CBS talent scouts and she received the role of Jill Clayburgh's daughter in the television movie, Miles to Go. She continued to do other works until she did an independent feature film, Whale Music. In fact, Whale Music was nominated for Best Picture in Canada. She also did animated work and her voice can be heard as Princess Zelda on the Mario Bros. cartoon series.

Cynthia has a impressive list of television credits which includes her lead role in the movie, Total Recall 2070. She also guest-starred in many popular TV series such as CSI, X-Files, Outer Limits, Andromeda, Viper, and Relic Hunter.

Cynthia resides in Los Angeles with her husband, Kyle Martin, and her bulldog named Peanut. During free time, Cynthia enjoys scuba diving, taking pictures, playing with Peanut and volunteering at the zoo.
