When Sam tells Carly she doesn't know the half of everything that has gone on with her and Jason, Carly tells her that she is again referring to some dark secret that Jason has and that if Jason wanted her to know, he would have told her. Sam tells her not to be so sure and that Jason didn't tell her because she has a big mouth. After Carly leaves, Spinelli comes home and Sam tries to talk him into getting her to see Jason. When the topic turns to Sam, Amelia asks Nikolas how well he knows her then fills him in on Sam's past. Nikolas offers to buy out Sam's contract for Everyday Heroes but Amelia tells him she admires his loyalty but it won't be necessary as she believes she'll end up becoming the best friend Sam has ever had.

While Lulu is tending to Logan, he asks her why she is helping him. She says she would treat anyone else the same way. He tells her to admit that she likes him which she denies. Anna and Noah discuss Eli's health, and the prospect of Noah standing in for Eli at the concert. Noah explains to Anna that surgery is his best chance for survival. Robin approaches her mother and questions her involvement in the Noah/Eli situation, when she knows that at any given moment, she could be called away for work. Anna tells her daughter that if she wants her to stay in Port Charles permanently, she only needs to ask. Robin acknowledges Anna's love for her but doesn't want her mother to give up what makes her happy. She talks to her mom about Patrick. Robin is taken aback when Anna asks her about marriage and children. She does not want to push anything, but tells Robin that being a mom is her greatest joy and she wants her to experience the same thing. Anna is able to convince Eli to have the surgery. Noah is willing to perform in the concert, but is nervous about it.

Still upset over Jason's arrest, Carly confronts Amelia over Jake's rescue. She grills her over why Jason was the one she told about the crying baby. She also doesn't understand why they didn't call the police instead of leaving town to find the baby. Amelia tells her she was just doing what Jason wanted.

Nikolas visits Sam at the penthouse and tells her about his car ride with Amelia. Sam tells Nik that Amelia does hate her, but also acknowledges that she did try to cheat Bill Monroe. Nikolas offers to find a way to cut Sam loose from Amelia. Amelia arrives at the penthouse and criticizes Sam for missing more work. Nik wonders what Amelia is holding over Sam's head. Sam is interrupted by a phone call telling her she can visit Jason at Pentonville. Sam appears to get under Amelia's skin by telling her that her father barely acknowledged her existence, and did not know about Amelia until after they were married. Same leaves for the prison.

Logan wakes up to see Lulu asleep on the chair across from him. He wonders why she stayed with him all night, and despite Lulu's protests is convinced that she is into him. Maxie and Coop show up to check up on Logan. Things are tense between Maxie and Lulu. After they leave, Logan tells Lulu she doesn't have to stick around.

Alexis abruptly shows up at Sonny's and informs him that the headmaster of a very prestigious school is about to pay them a visit. Apparently, part of the interview process includes checking out the home(s) of both parents of a prospective student. Max informs them that the headmaster has arrived, and that he will be in as soon as Milo is done frisking him. The first part of the visit does not go well, as the headmaster is surprised to hear that Kristina has siblings that go to Queen of Angels. He questions Sonny's education, and looks appalled when Sonny tells him he learned from the streets. Alexis tries to make it sound better by calling him self-educated. In the meantime, they are also interrupted by Bernie and Diana. Bernie starts to tell Sonny about a situation where an employee impregnated two women, and Diana walks in blurting out information about Jason's trial. Just as the headmaster tells him that Kristina will not be a good fit, Kate walks in. The headmaster is delighted to see her, and Kate asks how he knows her good friends Sonny and Alexis. Through Kate's influence, Kristina is accepted to the school. Alexis is thrilled and takes her leave. Sonny asks Kate to dinner. She politely declines and leaves.

Monica and Edward are concerned when they cannot locate Lulu. He is concerned about her safety.

Carly grills Jerry about his progress in getting Jason out of prison. Nikolas walks in and tells Carly that Jerry tried to have him killed while searching for Jake in Eastern Europe. Carly questions if it could be a Cassadine enemy. Through the course of the conversation, it is revealed that Jax is in Russia.

Wednesday, July 18, 2007

Carly asks Nikolas if he saw Jax while in Russia. He said no, but he did hear that he was there. Jerry claims not to know anything and leaves. Carly warns Nikolas not to provoke Jerry. He wants to know why she's protecting Jerry. Carly says she's just trying to be civilized. They talk about Emily and how she wants to let things go, too.

Jerry meets up with Skye and tells her he's trying to prove that Jason didn't kill Lorenzo. Skye is confused as to why he's defending a man who wants him dead. She tells him that Lorenzo left for South America and hasn't heard from him since then. Jerry asks what she would say during the trial. Skye is cut off from answering when Edward calls her. He needs to see her as soon as possible. Jerry leaves and goes into Kelly's to talk to Coop and Maxie. Later, he runs into Carly again and she wants to know what he found out about Jason. They fight, but she does tell him that she will stand by and cheer him on until Jax is home. Carly is very worried about Jax. She thinks Jerry is keeping him prisoner. Jerry takes offense to that and tells her he would never put his brother through that. Alexis walks in and asks Jerry where Jax is. Jerry is happy that two beautiful women are asking for his attention, but unfortunately it's only to find his brother. He says not to worry about Jax. He's not in any danger. Alexis tells Jerry that Nikolas brought it to her attention that Jax is in danger from Jerry. Jerry says that he is protecting Jax right now. When things settle down, he will come home. After Jerry leaves, Carly asks Alexis if she still wants to date Jerry. They bicker and start to argue, but Alexis points out that they should be working together.

Lulu offers to make eggs for Logan. He is surprised that she's offering to stay and take care of him. He tells her he's probably just going to sleep for a while and reminds her that he has been shot before. She starts to go, but he tells her he wants her to stay. He says he would like to kiss her, and she asks him why doesn't he? Tracy and Scott barge in, and Tracy tells Lulu she's stopping her from making a terrible mistake. She's come to take her home. Lulu doesn't want to go and tells Tracy that she's not going to boss her around. Scott and Tracy both make it known that Lulu should not be hanging around Logan. Logan and Scott fight and Scott continues to deny his child. Logan thinks Lulu set him up but she denies it. Tracy, Lulu and Scott leave and go back to the Quartermaine's. Edward had actually been worried about Lulu and was just telling Skye how Tracy had gotten out of Shadybrook in order to look for Lulu. When Lulu, Tracy and Scott enter, everyone starts bickering about Lulu and her safety. Tracy and Scott also continue to fight over Logan and the paternity issues. Skye tells Scott he should take a paternity test. Tracy tells Alice to kick out Scott, while Edward wants Alice to call Shadybrook to have Tracy re-committed. Scott threatens Tracy with jail. Tracy decides to go back to Shadybrook but not before telling the Quartermaine's to make sure Lulu stays away from Logan. Scott comes to visit her when she gets settled in her room and they both talk about how Luke will have a fit if he finds out his daughter is having a relationship with Scott's son.

Meanwhile, Ric shows up at Logan's place. He realizes Logan is the guy the cop's are looking for. Ric wants Logan to get back in with Sonny. They talk about how Sonny has no one now that Jason is in jail. Logan agrees to try to get back in Sonny's good graces. After Ric leaves, Lulu comes back to try to escape the Quartermaine's. She doesn't know why she's spilling her guts to him. She asks him how he felt when Scott denied him. She tells him how Tracy and Scott are trying to keep them apart. She says it won't work and kisses him.

Liz and Epiphany talk about the weather and such and Liz mentions that she saw Jason on her day off. She wishes she could see him more. Lucky comes to see Liz and asks her if she wants to go with him and the kids to the park. She is hesitant. There are too many bad memories from when Jake was kidnapped. He says he wants to help her through it as a family. She agrees to go, but after Lucky leaves she confesses to Epiphany that she doesn't want to go. Epiphany tells her she shouldn't have agreed to go if she didn't want to. They talk about Liz taking another trip to see Jason. She says Lucky doesn't understand why she went to see him. She tells Epiphany that Lucky asked her if she loves Jason. She tells Epiphany her response and how she's committed to their marriage. Epiphany asks Liz who she's trying to convince.

When Liz, Lucky and the boys get to the park, Liz has flashbacks and tells Lucky she can't stay there. He tells her not to shut down and to tell her what she's feeling. He tells her she's a wonderful mom and he was wrong to accuse her of anything. She still wants to go home. Lucky reminds her that Jake is healthy and safe. Jake needs her and so does Cameron. Lucky takes Cameron over to the swings, while Liz stays with Jake. She tells him everything will work out just fine. Amelia approaches her and startles her. Liz thanks her for her part in finding her son. Amelia says Jason was the only who really brought Jake home. She says it's clear that Jason cares a lot for Liz and Jake. Liz agrees that Jason is a great friend. Amelia comments that Sam and Jason are over. Lucky walks over and asks what they are talking about.

At Pentonville, Sam tells Jason that he doesn't look happy to see her. He says he didn't think he was allowed visitors. She confesses that Spinelli helped get her in. She admits that she saw Maureen take baby Jake. He doesn't react, so she tells him he should be yelling at her. He appears unfazed and says, "You did what you did." She asks him if he wants to know why she didn't do anything. He thinks he knows. He thinks she was trying to punish him. She admits that she was hurt when he lied to her for months. It all started when she was in the hospital and he broke up with her. He admits he was wrong about that and tried to fix it. She says he gave up on them. She kept trying, but her perception of reality became so twisted and distorted that she couldn't tell right from wrong. She asks him to say something. He yells at her and asks what she wants him to say. She sat there and watched his son get kidnapped. He admits that he hurt her, but he wanted to protect Liz and Jake. Sam says it's always all about Liz. She must have had this all planned. Jason has been emotionally unfaithful for months. He tells her it doesn't matter. The past can't be changed. Sam says she's going to make damn sure it doesn't happen again. She was wrong to let Maureen take Jake, but she was trapped. She was sick of all the lies she was forced to endure. She had to hit rock bottom. She's tired of trying. He can't love her, support her, or believe in her. He doesn't put her first. She can't accept any less than that. She questions if he ever even loved her. Everyone else is put first, Sonny, Carly, the kids, and now his own son. She's releasing him of any burden to her. She tells him they are over. It's funny that she's breaking up with him while he's in prison. It makes her look like the user everyone thinks she is. She's going to tell Lucky about Jake's paternity, too. He says that's not for her to do. If she does, he will turn her in for being an accessory to kidnapping.

Lulu fights her attraction to Logan after they start kissing in his apartment. She pulls away and tells him she didn't mean to kiss him so boldly. Logan tells her that she shouldn't fight her feelings for him. Lulu makes excuses to leave. Logan tries to persuade her to stay. Lulu explains that she already got burned from trying to trap Dillon by sleeping with him and getting pregnant and feels that sex isn't worth getting hurt over. Logan thinks that she needs to open herself up again and not let one bad experience stop her from exploring her feelings. Lulu ends up hitting Logan in the shoulder where his wound is by accident while trying to leave his apartment. Logan responds in pain and sits down while holding his injured shoulder. Lulu comes over to see if he is o.k. and notices that he is bleeding again and offers to help him. He asks her to fix him some eggs if she wants to help him out and she agrees to help him as long as he stops trying to confuse her by being human and not the jerk he acts like sometimes. Meanwhile, Maxie forgets that she was supposed to volunteer at the hospital and that Georgie is late for work at Kelly's because of her. Mike makes her bus tables to help him out since it is her fault Georgie is late. Maxie cringes while cleaning up someone's plate of food. Cooper shows up at Kelly's and is surprised to find Maxie working there. He makes a remark about how he can't believe she is working and risking ruining her manicure. Maxie explains that Georgie is late for work and she is helping out and starts flirting with Cooper. Mike tells her no flirting while she is working. Cooper leaves Kelly's to go do something and runs into an old soldier buddy of his from the war in Iraq named Cody. Cody tells him that he is suffering from regular nightmares from the war and blames Logan for what happened to him in Iraq. Cooper defends Logan to him but Cody doesn't want to hear about it and accuses him of being Cooper's friend. Cooper takes out his wallet and offers him some money to help Cody get by. Cody thanks him and seems to have forgotten about Logan for a moment when Maxie comes out and asks Cooper if he was going to go see how Logan was doing. Cody goes off again about Logan being a bad soldier and leaving him to die. Cooper defends Logan again but Cody just storms off in a huff. Maxie asks him who the guy was. Cooper doesn't want to talk about it and goes upstairs to his room to change. Maxie finds him in his room later. She asks him if he is alright. He tells her that he doesn't want to talk about the war and that he is trying to forget that he was ever there. Maxie backs off when she realizes it is a touchy subject but doesn't leave his room. Cooper opens up to her and tells her that he was a changed man after he came back from Iraq and that it wasn't for the better and that he could have ended up just like Cody if Logan hadn't saved his life. Maxie comforts Cooper. Cody shows up outside of Logan's apartment and tries to see inside his apartment.

Sonny finds Spinelli in his office working on his laptop. Spinelli upsets Sonny when he tells him he is looking into Jason's financial records and making sure that Jason diversifies his financial portfolio while he is in prison so he has even more money invested to be able to create a trust fund for his son. Sonny tells him to stay out of his and Jason's financial records because his hacking into them could alert the FBI and they could end up in prison. Spinelli tries to remind Sonny that Jason trusts him enough and he should too. Sonny threatens Spinelli's life if he doesn't stay out of his business. Kate walks into his office and overhears him threaten Spinelli and try to take his laptop away. Spinelli grabs it out of Sonny's hand and takes off when Kate comes into his office and distracts Sonny. Kate tells Sonny to leave Spinelli alone. Sonny tells her that he is just keeping Spinelli in line. Kate tells Sonny that she recommended him as a council member for some arts board for the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art and suggests that this will help open him up socially and allow his children to be able to have some culture in their lives. Sonny has no intention of being on some arts council and tells her that he can provide everything his children need. He laughs when she tells him that he can be on this arts council if he agrees to donate $500,000 to the museum council. Kate tries to get him to do this for his kids' future to help them move in better social circles when they grow up. Sonny thinks that she is trying to remake his image so he looks more attractive to her as a date. Kate denies that is the reason and leaves his office.

Sam tells Jason that she plans to tell Lucky that he isn't the father of Liz's baby so that Liz can't keep lying to him and Jason will have a chance to raise his son like he should. Jason gets very quiet and angrily threatens to turn Sam in as an accomplice in the kidnapping of his son if she tells Lucky anything. Sam can't believe Jason would blackmail her to protect Liz when Liz made him give up his son to protect her secret and her cozy life with Lucky. Jason tries to explain that his son will not be safe if it was made public that he was Jake's father and he can't put his son at risk. Sam explains that she froze when she saw Jake being kidnapped and was afraid to tell him what happened. Jason doesn't really believe her. Sam realizes that it is over between them. She tells him he is a sucker for believing that Liz can do no wrong and that Liz is trying to protect herself from the truth coming out and ruining her marriage and having everyone find out she slept with Jason. Sam looks at Jason and tells him that she can't believe she ever loved him. Meanwhile, Amelia runs into Liz and Lucky in the park with the children. She tells them that she believes it is over between Sam and Jason and that she feels bad for Jason because he is locked up in prison on murder charges after he found the baby and now he has lost Sam for good probably. Lucky gets defensive about Jason's prison stay and asks Amelia why she cares what happens to Jason now that Sam would be free to work on "Everyday Heroes" and not be connected to Jason anymore. Amelia tells Lucky that she is able to separate her personal opinions from her professional work. Lucky reminds her that Jason is in prison on murder charges. Amelia leaves them alone. Sam shows up at the park and finds Liz and Lucky with the children. She doesn't pretend to act nice in front of them and tells them that she broke up with Jason and that now it is only a matter of time before Lucky finds out how much of a liar his wife is. Lucky asks her what she is talking about. Sam doesn't tell Lucky the truth about Jake but accuses Liz of being in love with Jason and visiting him in prison any chance she gets. Liz tries to cut Sam some slack because she and Jason just broke up and she is bitter and tries to tell Sam that she isn't in love with Jason and that they are just friends. Sam doesn't believe her and walks off. Lucky says something cryptic and walks off somewhere. He returns shortly afterwards and finds that Liz is ready to leave the park right now. He surprises her when he tells her he has made arrangements for her to visit Jason in prison if she wants to and tells her that he saw how bitter and insecure Sam was and doesn't want to be that way. Liz tells him she loves him and that what Sam said wasn't true about her being in love with Jason. Lucky believes her and they kiss. Sam heads back to the television studio and finds Amelia talking to the crew. She dismisses the crew and tells them she needs to talk to Amelia alone and tells them to take their lunch breaks early. The members of the crew leave the studio. Amelia asks her what she wants from her now that she has already delayed the shooting of the episodes already with her personal problems. Sam tells her that things are going to change around the studio and that she isn't going to let her use Jason to threaten her anymore. She tells Amelia that she broke up with Jason not the other way around. Amelia still tries to use the fact that Sam witnessed the kidnapping and did nothing about it against her but Sam tells her she may want to rethink that because if it comes out in public that Jason is Jake's father Jason will not be happy. She tells Amelia that she doesn't want to make Jason angry. Amelia backs off and tells her that they can work together professionally still. Sam tells her she has plans for the show.

Robin, Patrick and Noah emerge form surgery exhausted. Anna approaches and tells Noah she has less than an hour to transform him into a rock star. Noah doesn't want to go, but Anna tells him this party is a perfect time to try to on their gig and see if it will work. Noah wants to just tell everyone Eli is sick, but Robin tells him he won't win an argument with her mom. He agrees and Anna gets to work. Patrick talks to Robin about his Dad's alcoholism. He's worried that acting like Eli Love will sabotage his sobriety.

Sonny goes to Pentonville to visit Jason. Jason wants to know if he's been watching out for Jake. Sonny tells him about Sam confronting the Spencer's at the park. Jason tells him about the break up and he's worried that Sam will tell Lucky that he's not Jake's father. Sonny thinks that may not be a bad idea. Jason doesn't want to talk about that issue right now. Sonny tells him that Diane is working on a transfer for him. Jason tells him he doesn't regret working for him, but he's definitely paying the price now. Not for being in jail, but the price is not being able to have his son.

Meanwhile, Carly and her staff are preparing for Eli Love's part at the Metro Court. Jerry approaches, which scares off her manager. Carly tells Jerry to leave her staff alone. She's changed her mind. Forget Jason for now and just bring Jax home. Jerry says Jax will be flattered. He can't do anything about bringing Jax back, though. He tells her to be patient.

Kate's boss shows up at the Metro Court with his new girlfriend, Nina. The bartender asks if he and his daughter would like a drink. They laugh. Nina excuses herself to go change her shoes. The bartender apologizes but Kate's boss blows it off and says after his last divorce he just couldn't date. HE found some pills that make it hard for his girlfriends to keep up with him now, though. Kate shows up and the two decide to talk business until Nina comes back. Kate has a bad headache, but turns down her boss' suggestion of ibuprofen. When he goes to check on Nina, she changed her mind and finds pills in his jacket pocket. A few hours later, Sonny comes home and finds Kate trying to cool herself off with ice cubes from his bar. She says she's there to talk about the museum, but she can't stop rambling about how good he looks and how amazing his lips are. Sonny thinks she's wasted, but she tells him she's not drunk. She kisses him.

Lulu runs into Kelly's and finds Liz making arrangements to see Jason at Pentonville. Liz cancels her appointment and abruptly gets off the phone. Lulu tells her she should go see Jason. Liz is confused. Lulu tells Liz that Jason is probably lonely and needs friends. She knows Liz is friends with him, and especially since Jason saved Jake. Liz says she has to think about Lucky, too, though. After Liz leaves, Lulu talks to Logan about Liz and Lucky's marriage. She says the two of them are so in love and if they can't make it, then she has no chance. Meanwhile, Cody, and Iraq vet, is watching from the window outside. When Lucky walks in, Lulu tells him that Liz went to see Jason. He says he knows, because he arranged it. She's surprised. Lucky tells her that he's not happy about it, but he can't stop Liz from seeing Jason when Lucky has everything and Jason has nothing right now. After Lucky leaves, Logan tells Lulu that he needs to have his wound looked at again. She tells him that she didn't sign on to be his personal nurse. He storms out but doesn't go far. Cody pushes him up against a wall and pokes at his wound. Lulu comes out and tells him to stay away from Logan.

Liz finally gets to Pentonville and tells Jason that Lucky arranged their visit. She explains that she wants to visit him because of everything he's done for her and Jake, unless he doesn't want her to visit. No, he says he does want her to visit. She pulls out pictures of Jake to give to Jason. They look at how blue his eyes are. She says they get bluer everyday. She wonders if other people will put the connection together. She asks if it's harder for him when she comes to visit. He says he could be in there forever, so it may not be good on her family for her to keep visiting. She reminds him how he once said it would be easier for him to pretend that Jake wasn't his. He agrees and says that it would kill him to pretend that Jake wasn't his son. Just having pictures of him makes things better. Liz wipes a tear away. Jason changes the subject and asks Liz about Sam at the park yesterday. Liz warns him that she's worried if Ric puts Sam on the stand, she may say something incriminating against him.

Amelia shows up at Jason's penthouse and tells Sam that the network wants her to go to Eli Love's party. Sam tells her she's busy. Amelia notices that she's packing and asks if Jason couldn't wait to kick her out. Sam starts talking about how Liz is a coward until she finds her baby's blanket in a box. She says that she would be heartbroken right now if she weren't so mad. Amelia leaves and Lucky shows up. Sam apologizes for her behavior at the park. She says that he and his children shouldn't have been subjected to that. He says he knows that Liz doesn't love Jason, but he wants to know if Jason loves Liz.

At Eli Love's party, Robin and Patrick order drinks and find a seat. A man comes up to Patrick and claims to know him. He thinks Patrick is someone famous. They blow him off and in walks Anna and "Eli". Patrick is surprised at how well his dad is doing at fooling everyone. Robin pulls her mother aside to remind her that Noah is NOT Eli and that he is a recovering alcoholic. Anna says they are going to give the people what they want. While Kate's boss and his girlfriend talk to Eli about backstage passes, Anna brings Eli his drink of choice for a toast, VODKA!

At the party, an old hippie gentleman approaches and flirts with Alexis. Jerry saves her and apologizes to his wife for leaving her. He invites her back to his room. Meanwhile, Carly is inside his room and has just found a phone ringing. She's forced to duck behind a couch when Alexis and Jerry arrive. Alexis tries to tell Jerry that it's not right for her to be in her client's private room, but Jerry fends her off and tells her no one will find out if it's private. He asks her what she's afraid of and proceeds to sit down in the chair where Carly is hiding behind.
