In his penthouse, Jax embraces Chloe, but they are interrupted when Mike comes to the door. Mike explains that he does not want to marry Gertrude, but Jax and Chloe convince him to give it one try.

In her art studio, Liz refuses to permit her grandmother to mistreat Jason. Jason leaves in an effort to give Liz and Audrey a chance to sort things out. After he has left, Audrey expresses her disappointment in her granddaughter, but Liz expresses equal disappointment in Audrey. Liz then offers to move out of Audrey's home and move into the art studio so that her grandmother will be unable to make decisions for her in the future.

Carly confronts Sonny at his penthouse and demands that he help Jason. Sonny claims to have done all that he could possibly do and tells Carly that Jason will eventually come around. Sonny then insists that the whole situation is all about Carly and maintains that Jason would be better off without her. Carly, however, contends that Sonny is too arrogant to apologize to his friend. Sonny instructs Mrs. Quartermaine to leave and has Johnny accompany her to the elevator.

In the secret room, Faison forces Luke to reveal his true feelings for Felicia. When Faison leaves the room, Felicia becomes agitated, proclaiming that their kidnapper has plans to murder them. Luke attempts to comfort Felicia when she dissolves into tears, but Felicia is not assuaged. She tells Luke Faison's story about his lost love at the nuclear laboratory and declares that Faison plans to kill them just as he killed Robert and Anna. Gas begins to seep into the room from an overhead unit, rendering Luke and Felicia very sleepy. Before they nod off, Luke tells Felicia that he meant what he said earlier, when he told her that he loved her.

At the Port Charles Grill, Mike and Chloe practice an evening with Gertrude as Ned, Jax, and Alexis watch from behind a partition. Chloe gives Mike pointers on how best to interact with her aunt. After the meal, Mike agrees to join the foursome's scheme. Appropriately enough, just as Mike has accepted, Gertrude enters the restaurant. After introductions, Gertrude joins Mike at his table and the two appear to get along well. When Gertrude is called away, Mike informs the foursome that his rates have just skyrocketed.

Also at the Grille, AJ, Alan, and Monica wait for Carly to arrive. Monica is very irritated by Carly's tardiness and as she bickers with her son, Edward and Lila arrive. The Quartermaines are all arguing when Edward spots Ned. He and Lila depart, leaving AJ and Monica to continue their heated discussion. Carly finally arrives, but Alan and Monica have already eater and quickly leave. AJ and Carly proceed with Quartermaine tradition and bicker about anything and everything.

On the docks, Sonny encounters Liz and asks about Jason's condition. Liz provides the requisite details and then heads off. After she is gone, Hannah spies her former lover and asks him to stay and talk to her. She again professes her love for Sonny and pleads for a chance to prove it. Sonny responds by telling Hannah that he does not care about her and tells her never to speak to him again.

Liz locates Jason and returns him to her studio. Jason informs Liz that he has to leave because he complicates her life. Liz replies that she makes her own decisions and urges Jason not to tell her what to do.

Jax and Alexis discussed her upcoming night with Ned and her excitement about it. He told her he didn't mind her going out and about now because once his parents got here, all of her time would be taken up with family activities. She told him that was fine because she was very much looking forward to a Jax family Christmas.

Chloe and Ned were at L&B and he was prepping her for his upcoming absence. She told him she wanted to be sure he had a great time and he asked her where she had been four marriages ago. She smiled and said, "Probably at a Whitesnake concert." (For all those not on the fly, Whitesnake is a rock group, lead singer David Coverdale, who ruled the eighties big hair rock scene) Jax called and invited her out for the afternoon.

Emily called Jason and left a message saying she missed him and would like to see him. Carly came in and heard most of the message, then asked Emily if maybe Jason was sick of hearing about the teenage wasteland she calls a life. (For all those not on the fly, 'teenage wasteland' is a reference from a song called "Baba O'Reilly" by a rock group called The Who, lead singer Roger Daltry, who ruled the sixties and seventies big hair rock scene). Emily shot back that she was sure Carly knew where Jason was because she did little but dog his every step. Carly told her she wouldn't even justify that with a response (which of course she does), but would say that Jason was where he could pick up the phone at any time and call her if he wanted to talk to her. Emily stomped out and AJ entered. He suggested that perhaps Carly's fouls mood of late was because Jason had cut her off. He then informed her that the rules of her marriage were about to change. Carly asked AJ what more he wanted. She said that he had Michael and that was what he really wanted. AJ told her that either she start acting like the perfect wife again or he would divorce her, get sole custody of Michael and lock her away in Ferncliff. She told him that even if she played along, all he'd have would be a wife that doesn't even like him. He told her that liking him wasn't a condition of their marriage. Edward entered just then and commented on the two of them being the perfect Quartermaine couple. They began to discuss the upcoming party AJ and Carly were going to that night for business. Edward said he was haooy not to be going and be spending the evening with Lila. Monica and Alan came in and said there was no way they were going. Carly said that she was looking forward to it. After the guys left, Monica started griping at Carly about her attitude and Carly let it be known that she doesn't even like being there. Monica told her that everyone in the house was as anxious for her to be gone as she was to go. Carly said that at least they agreed on something, then asked Monica what she suggested they do about it. Monica said she didn't know yet, but until she thought of something, Carly had better sit tight and not hurt AJ. She warned Carly that she could be either her ally or her worst nightmare. Carly said fine, but that she'd better be fast about it because patience was not her strong suit. Later, Monica tried with only moderate success to convince Alan that AJ and Carly's marriage is a disaster that needs to end.

Roy came to the Spencer home to see the room for rent and Laura commented on his punctuality. Roy told her how nice and homey the house was, but said he couldn't see Luke in it. Laura replied that Luke couldn't either, which was part of the problem. She showed him the room and reminisced about how Lucky used the window to leave more than the door. Roy said it must have been rough the last year when Lucky moved out and Laura said that rough was just beginning then, but that it's getting better. LuLu came in and Roy was wonderful and charming to her and they ended up in a tea party (the "are you cool?" test with LuLu. He and Laurs talked about roads not taken just as Bobbie arrived to give Laura a birthday present. After she left, Roy asked if she came by often and remarked that he was surprised that they were close after their history. They smiled about life being full of surprises. He told her he'd like to take the room and they agreed he would move in immediately. Just then, Stefan knocked on the door to give Laura a birthday bouquet of roses. He said he was sorry, he didn't know she had guests. She said Roy was not a guest, he was her new roommate. Stefan got that grinding-the-jaw look he gets when he's about to flip out.

In a seriously dumb, symbolic scene, Mac and Maxie were looking for Georgie's shoe while Felicia looked on, frantically suggesting that they look behind the winged chair. Of course, they couldn't hear her and she became increasingly frustrated. Maxie asked when Mom was coming back and Mac assured her it would be soon, amongst lots of "I'm right here!"s from Felicia. They left and she saw a doorway with bright light coming through and Luke appeared there and told her it was time. She argued that she wanted to stay there with her family and he told her that wasn't a choice. She went to him, Mac and the girls came back into the room and she looked back regretfully, then went with Luke.

Felicia and Luke awoke and realized that Faison had only gassed the room with a sleeping drug, not a killing drug. Felicia started freaking out about how they were going to die and Luke told her that as long as they were alive, they had a chance. They found a vent and got all excited thinking they had found a way out, but it was blocked up behind he vent. Faison entered and commented that they had found his gift: something to do if they got bored. Felicia asked him what it was he wanted and he told her it was to see them both dead. She asked him who she was to believe, the man before her who says he wants her to die or the one in the frilly room who professed his undying love for her? He said it really didn't matter now. She said that given the choice between death and a life with him, she'd choose death. She said that he shared that sentiment and he left. Felicia and Luke started talking about how they were going to die and feeling each other's face. She asked him if he ever wondered about "what if's" and he said he did all the time, "What if he'd killed Faison when he had the chance," etc. She said no, that she meant in the grander scheme of things. If there had been no Frisco, no Mac, no kids and he met her on the street, would he...? "Know you?" he filled in. And he swore it might have taken him a minute because he's slow on the uptake, but he would have known her the minute he fell into those baby blues. Then they starting kissing deeply, making out and cheating on Mac.

Ned and Alexis met at L&B and she commented on the new décor. Ned said he liked the energy of the room and admitted that Chloe had a funky style of decorating. Alexis asked if she could decorate her own office because she couldn't work in a funky room. She had some papers about Miguel for him to sign and he put his mark on her instead, with a big kiss.

Chloe came to see Jax with a fat bag of presented. He asked if there was anything in there for him and she smacked his hand away. They made plans to meet later in the day and also to spend New Year's Eve together.

Ned asked Juan about his intentioned to Emily and Juan went into a heartfelt speech about how Emily made him a good person and how much he loved her. Ned told her he'd better not be lying to him or he's cut off his arms, legs, ears and nose.

Jason and Liz are at the studio. She examines his wound and determines that it is healing, but he is more concerned with her argument with Audrey. Liz explains that she must be her own person and not let Audrey or anyone else tell her how to live her life. Later, she is sketching fruit as her lifts a heavy book to build up the injured arm. Liz scolds him about doing too much, then leaves to go to the diner to get food. Meanwhile, Nikolas has gone to the diner to look for Liz. He chats briefly with Tammy, who explains that she isn't there, and as he turns to go he encounters Taggert. They discuss Jason's whereabouts, and Taggert gives Nikolas a phone number to call if he should hear anything about Jason. Nikolas insists that he is "no spy", but puts the slip of paper into his pocket thoughtfully. Liz enters the diner next, and Tammy is just explaining that Nikolas was looking for her when he reappears. He confronts her once again about the Jason thing, but she won't hear any of it. He reminds her that he took a bullet meant for Jason, and about Lucky, but once again she tells him to back off. He does so, a little, and invites her to go to Laura's with him, but she declines, warning him not to try to tell her what to do, and leaves the diner with the sack of food. Back at the studio, Jason is just coming in the door. He tries to get his coat off, but isn't successful before Liz returns with the lunch and a little Christmas tree in a bucket. Jason can see that something is troubling her and she mentions meeting Nikolas at the diner, but doesn't want to discuss it. Liz is chatting on about Christmas Past when she suddenly notices that Jason has his jacket on. She gives him a lecture about doing too much, then makes a deal - she'll help him off with the jacket if he'll help her decorate the tree. They decorate the tree with paper chains and are companionable with one another.

At the hospital, Audrey is aggravated and Bobbie is cranky as Tony tries to cheer her up. He's nostalgic for the years he played Santa on the children's ward, and Bobbie is supportive of his resuming the role. He exits, and Audrey asks Bobbie about Jason, saying that Liz is "involved" with him. Bobbie questions what she means by "involved", and Audrey explains about overhearing Nikolas' accusations and about confronting Liz and Jason at the studio. Audrey tells Bobbie that Liz is moving out, and Bobbie begins to reassure her as Audrey states that she doesn't want Liz involved with "Jason's sort." Bobbie is put out by the comment and explains that arrests don't make people evil, that some people deserve a new start. Roy enters unseen just in time to overhear all this. He is there about some worker's compensation paperwork, and is apologizing for interrupting when Amy shows up. She exclaims over Roy, who remembers her from long ago, and Bobbie drags her away as she makes comments about Bobbie and Roy's past relationship. Tony and Roy talk about Roy's friend (the worker's comp case), and Roy exits after wishing Bobbie a merry Christmas.

Juan is cleaning at the new L&B headquarters, singing "Silent Night" as he does so. Emily listens from the doorway, and he stops when he sees her. She thinks he has a wonderful talent and gift and wants him to sing for Ned, but he explains that he wants to be known as an "amazing young business phenom" rather than as Miquel's son. He is a bit huffy, but soon calms down and wants to demonstrate the new sound system Ned has installed. They turn up the music and begin to dance when Taggert arrives at the door. He says he's "getting 'caught red-handed' vibes", but they protest that they're not doing anything wrong, and Taggert lets it go. He gives Juan his Christmas present - a key to their apartment at Bobbie's brownstone. They chat briefly about the upcoming GH Christmas party, and after Taggert leaves, Juan rejoices that he'll be staying in Part Charles.

At Laura's house, Laura and Roy are making arrangements for him to move in when Stefan arrives, bearing roses for her birthday. The men introduce themselves to one another and Roy departs. Stefan is unhappy about Roy moving in, and Laura tries to explain their relationship. Stefan, upon learning where Roy's been, comments, "He's been in prison for twenty years - he must be a friend of Luke's." Laura insists that she knows what she's doing, and Stefan interprets this as proof that she's given up on having a life with him. Laura explains that she believed he'd been completely honest with her when in fact he'd been lying; she still loves him, but has not yet come to any conclusion about their relationship. Stefan insists that he was only trying to protect her, but Laura wonders if she can ever trust him - she does not know his heart. He replies that his heart is the same as when they first met, when he lied to protect her on the island. He tells her he loves her, wishes her a happy birthday and exits. Lesley enters next, bearing a big cake. Laura explains about the flowers from Stefan, about how he and Roy met and the ensuing reaction of hurt and anger on Stefan's part. Laura says that she was only trying to fill Lucky's empty room, and she begins to cry. Nikolas arrives just then with a present, and the three of them share a group hug. Amy is last on the scene, telling about meeting Roy at the hospital and joking about sharing her apartment with him as Lesley lights the candles on the cake. Lesley Lu tells her mother to make a wish, and Laura blows out the candles.

At Faison's hideout, Luke and Felicia are kissing passionately when she suddenly breaks off - she apologizes, but she can't be unfaithful to Mac. Luke is reassuring her when he has a realization, and begins kissing her again, forcing her down onto the cot. He whispers to Felicia to fight him, to "spoil the show for Faison", and she does so, crying out for him to stop. Faison enters the room with gun drawn, demanding that Luke take his hands off Felicia. He fires one shot into the air, advising that it is the last warning shot and goes to shoot Luke just as Felicia dives in front of him. Felicia is shot in the shoulder, and Faison says that he is sorry, but that she would soon die anyway. He tells Luke to move away from her, and Luke screams at him to go to hell just as Mac enters behind Faison. Mac makes Faison drop the gun and the two wrestle as Luke carries Felicia from the room. Mac pins Faison on the cot, handcuffs him, and pushes him out the door to where Luke waits with Felicia. We see that a video camera has recorded all this, and now begins to rewind.

by Karen Albeck

At the hospital, Bobbie and Luke briefly discuss his adventure with Felicia, and she tells him that Jerry jumped bail. Bobbie mentions Christmas, and Luke is momentarily confused as to what day it is, then leaps up, saying he has someplace to be. Mike and Gertrude are at the hotel restaurant, and he is flirting shamelessly with her, trying to impress her with a fake phone call on "his" cell phone (actually borrowed from Chloe). Ned, Chloe, Alexis and Jax look on in approval as Gertrude invites Mike to join her at her table for dinner. Tammy enters, in search of a gift certificate for Mike, and spies Mike and Gertrude as they share a toast. Jax spots Tammy glowering at the door and intervenes as she is about to approach Mike's table. Jax explains that Mike is at a very important business meeting involving "serious money", but Tammy is skeptical. "Trust me", Jax insists, but Tammy doesn't, and leaves. Mike speaks up as Jax passes and asks if everything is all right with "the blond lady" and Jax tells him that there is no problem. After Jax has gone back to his own table, Mike explains that Jax has an eye for the ladies, and warns her that "he [Jax] is a well-known Lothario, and could easily destroy your niece's marriage." Later, at Jax's apartment, Jax gives Chloe her Christmas gift - a little replica of their wishing fountain, and inside is a gold bracelet. She is pleased, and gives him her gift, which turns out to be a little boat model. She says it's one he can't capsize, but he is not amused and gets very quiet, explaining that "there's no way she could have known." She presses for an explanation of his reaction to her gift, so he tells her that he and Brenda were married on a yacht and later his parents gave her a little one as a gift and memento - they used to keep it on the mantelpiece. Chloe is upset, takes back her gift, wishes Jax a good Christmas and leaves quickly. As she waits for the elevator, she begins to cry. At Laura's house, Luke is at the door with presents. He enters, and he and Laura chat awkwardly about the decorations, the angel, past Christmases and Lucky. LuLu comes in from upstairs and she and Luke go over her letter to Santa, then she gives him a present for under his tree. He and Laura exchange teary hugs and he leaves. Later, Laura is crying, looking at pictures of Lucky, when Stefan arrives. He wants to invite Laura and LuLu to Wyndemere for Christmas dinner with Nikolas. Laura tells him that she would never have gotten through the last year without his support, and to remember that she loves him, no matter how things turn out. She accepts his invitation. At Kelly's Diner, Larkin is sitting at a table as Bobbie enters. He jumps up and confronts her about Jerry, demanding to know if she knows where he is, threatening "how would Lucas deal with a mother in prison?" Roy enters in time to hear the threat, and immediately jumps to Bobbie's defense, telling Larkin not to threaten her. Larkin defends himself and starts to get in Roy's face, threatening him with return to prison, when Bobbie intervenes. Later, Roy and Luke are at Luke's club, and Luke tells him all about how Felicia was shot, how they almost made love, how she decided she loved her husband. Roy is sympathetic. At the diner, Tammy is behind the counter when Mike comes in. She gives him a bit of a hard time about the "serious money" and, when he asks her if they are still on for New Year's Eve, says that they are and that "this isn't the millennium to stand [her] up." Hannah slips out the door of the diner in time to see Sonny walking past. She wishes him a merry Christmas, and he replies "not this year." Jason and Liz are fooling with Michael's globe, playing the "tell one fact about..." game. He knows some facts about Ethiopia, which impresses her; she can't come up with any about his choice for her - Uzbekistan.

Friday, December 24, 1999

Jax hangs up the phone and informs Alexis that his parents have decided to delay their arrival by a day. Alexis is going just a little overboard with the decorations in an attempt to make things festive for Jax's parents. She feels bad about the whole Jerry thing and wants them to have a good Christmas. She changes the subject by asking Jax what happened with Chloe. Jax tells her about Chloe's gift tohim.

At Kelly's, Ned notices that Chloe looks a little down and asks what's wrong. She confesses that she and Jax exchanged Christmas presents. She loved his gift to her, but she managed to give him the perfect reminder of Brenda.

Emily arrives at Kelly's just as Juan is coming downstairs. She is in a rush to leave so that they won't be late for the GH Christmas party, but Juan wants to see her outfit before they go. Emily reluctantly models her elf costume for Juan at his insistence and is rewarded with a kiss from her boyfriend under the mistletoe.

At GH, Bobbie is delighted to give Tony the happy news that he has been reinstated as Santa. Tony is thrilled and thanks Bobbie. He rushes off to change. As Tony leaves, Sonny arrives. He explains that he is there to see Stefan. Bobbie lets Stefan know that Sonny is there and than leaves to give Tony his Santa beard.

As Sonny waits for Stefan, Carly arrives with Michael. She stops to talk to Sonny briefly and is disappointed to learn that Jason is not there.

At Luke's Luke is in his office when he hears a knock on the door. He tells the person to go away, but changes his mind when he hears Liz's voice. He invites her in and happily accepts her gift of brownies. She notices that he is sad and offers to try to make him laugh by showing him her elf costume. Luke can't help but chuckle at the costume and correctly deduces that she is working the GH Christmas party. Liz nods and asks if there is any chance he wants to be her date. Luke says that that is the best offer he has had this millenium, but politely declines. He isn't very good with Christmas parties. Liz says that she understands. She thought about staying home too. She doesn't really feel like going out and plastering a smile on her face either, especially without Lucky there. She still isn't sure that she can pull it off. Luke assures her that she can. She made his son happy when nothing else could. Lucky always said that she was the most courageous person he knew. Luke knows that this will be nothing. Liz says that she still misses Lucky so much. Sometimes it still hurts to breathe.(waaaahhhhh!) Luke says that he knows. Liz gives Luke a hug and then leaves for the party. Once Liz is gone, Luke walks over to his desk and picks up a picture of Lucky (as played by Jonathan Jackson, the ONE and ONLY Lucky Spencer!!!) and looks at it sadly. He looks up and whispers, "Merry Christmas Cowboy." (OK, I'm in tears!!!)

Mac and Felicia are preparing for Christmas. Mac says that he thinks he might have a present that will take her mind off of missing the girls. He opens the door and the girls run in, to Felicia's delight. Hugs and kisses abound as Felicia is reunited with her daughters.

At the PC jail, a visitor arrives for Faison. The visitor is instructed to deliver a Christmas present to Mac and Felicia.

Chloe tells Ned that Jax has always been very open and honest about his feelings for Brenda, but she never realized how much of a presence Brenda still was in his life until he opened the Christmas present. She could tell by the look on Jax's face that his feelings for Brenda are still so powerful. She can't compete with a memory and she doesn't want to push herself on Jax. She thinks maybe she needs to back off. Ned says that he knows just what she and Jax need. He gets up to leave an drags a protesting Chloe with him.

Meanwhile, Juan and Emily are assisting Tammy in the placement of the Christmas tree. Taggert arrives and asks Juan if he is all ready to move. Juan confesses that he hasn't had time because he is going to the Christmas party at GH. Taggert says that he is going as well and they decide to leave together. Dara arrives just as they are leaving and tries to convince Taggert that they need to review his testimony for the Helena Cassadine trial. The threesome convince Dara that she too must go to the GH Christmas party.

Jax tells Alexis about Chloe's Christmas gift. He feels very bad that he ruined Chloe's surprise. He explained everything to Chloe, but still, the damage was done. All she wanted to do was make him happy and now she thinks she ruined his day. Alexis suggests to Jax that he and Chloe need to get away alone. They are always sneaking around and pretending to be something they aren't. Jax laughs and says that she is probably right.

The Q's arrive at GH for the Christmas party. As they wander towards the party location, Dave Koz and his band arrive. Dave Koz is greeted by Amy, who reminds him, like she does every year, that they met the year before. Taggert, Emily, Juan and Dara arrive. They also see Dave Koz. Juan boldly walks up to him and introduces himself. He invites him to lunch on the pretense of discuss his future with L&B records, but Mr. Koz politely declines. They all leave to go to the party.

Nikolas arrives along with Lulu and Lesley. Amy takes Lulu and Lesely to the party, but Nikolas remains in the lobby. Liz arrives with apologies to Audrey for being late. Audrey tells her that she needs to go to the board room immediately. Liz starts to rush off, but is stopped by Nikolas. He asks if she has a minute. When she says that she doesn't (this guy SOOO cannot take a hint!), he tells her that it is important. Liz stops and turns to look at him with a "this had better be good" look on her face.

At Kelly's, Tammy is cleaning up when Mike arrives. She cheerily wishes him a Merry Christmas and he returns the sentiment. Tammy explains that everyone else is at the GH Christmas party, but that she offered to stay and close up. Mike surprises Tammy with a copy of her favorite movie (and one of mine)...Gone With The Wind. Tammy is delighted with the gift.

Luke is in his office talking to himself when Roy arrives. Roy explains that he is there making a coffee delivery and says that he is surprised to find Luke there. Luke says that he doesn't feel like celebrating and good naturedly tells Roy to go away. Roy says that he has to tell Luke something. He confesses that he is renting a room from Laura.

At the Scropio residence, a mysterious figure carefully places a wrapped package under the Christmas tree.

At GH, Liz blows Nikolas off as Felicia and the girls arrive at the hospital. As Liz once again tries to rush off to the board room, she hears Jason call her name. She is happy to see him up and about. He explains that he just wanted to be able to watch Michael enjoy the party from a distance. He teases her about her costume and playfully steals her hat. Nikolas watches in disgust as Liz tries to get her hat back from Jason. Unable to take it any longer, Nik grabs Jason and tells him to leave Liz alone. Liz pulls Nik off Jason and tells him to stay out of it. Nik isn't anywhere near ready to let this one go and lunges at Jason again. Jason tells Nik to stay out of it, but Nik doesn't listen. Carly walks off of the elevator just as Nik screams at Jason that he doesn't own Liz just because he is sleeping with her which causes Jason to punch Nik, and it's about time! (my, my Nik caused quite a ruckus with this one, not very Cassadine behavior!)

Nik and Jason continue to fight until Sonny and Stefan pull them apart. Stefan is shocked at Nik's behavior, but Nik continues to try to fight with Jason. Liz tells Nikolas that he has not right to tell her what to do. Jason says that he is going to leave and Liz says that she is going with him. Audrey starts to protest, but Liz turns and tells her that she doesn't care what any of them think. This is her life. With that, Liz and Jason get onto to the elevator with Nik "I don't know when to quit", screaming after Liz that she won't have a life when Jason is through with her. Santa arrives as the stunned onlookers watch Jason and Liz go.

Luke is shocked to hear that Laura is renting out a room. Roy explains that he thinks that Laura is just trying to be independent. He offers to not take the room if it bothers Luke, but Luke says that it is fine. Roy is relieved since he really liked the homey feel of the house. And he loved Lulu. Luke's face softens at the mention of Lulu. He tells Roy that it actually might be good for him to be there to watch over Laura and Lulu. Roy says that Lulu must be missing her big brother this year. Luke nods sadly. Roy wishes Luke a Merry Christmas and leaves him alone. Luke sits in his chair and stares at Lucky's picture.

Mike is touched by Tammy's gift (dinner at the Port Charles Grill), but explains that he never eats in a restaurant on Christmas Eve. It is his personal belief that noone should have to work on Christmas Eve so he makes it a point never to go out to eat that night. Tammy likes his reasons and is even happier when he invites her to join him for dinner.

Ned and Chloe arrive at the Jacks'. Chloe is clearly uncomfortable and tells Jax that they probably won't stay long. Meanwhile, Alexis is pumping Ned for information about her gift. Noticing the elaborate decorations (Alexis went a little overboard, LOL), Ned asks Alexis to help her decorate the gatehouse. Before they can protest, Jax and Chloe are alone.

Jax and Chloe start to speak at the same time and then stop. Jax lets Chloe go first. She explains that she thinks Ned and Alexis leaving was a set up. Jax apologizes for his reaction to her gift. There was no way that she could have known. Chloe says that she understands his feelings for Brenda and she understands if he needs some time. Jax says that he will always have feelings for Brenda, but he will never use that as an excuse to stop living his life. He promises Chloe that his past with Brenda will not get in the way of his feelings for her. Wow, a line like that can only be followed by a kiss!

At GH, Alan is reading the Christmas story from the Bible with background music supplied by Dave Koz. As he finishes reading, he turns the festivities over to Santa who begins to hand out gifts amidst cheers from the children! He calls for help from his elves. Emily jumps up and asks Juan if he wants to help. Juan readily agrees, but notices that Emily looks distracted. Emily confesses that she is more than a little surprised about Liz and Jason. She is also a little hurt that neither of them told her.

The "outing" of the Jason/Liz romance is the talk of the Christmas party (wow has that little lie ever mutated! I'm sure Liz wishes she had never used that one to get Nik to lay off! And am I the only one who finds it more than a little curious that all these people who supposedly know Liz so well are so quick to believe that she is sleeping with Jason?). Bobbie walks over to Carly and offers her a comforting hug. Carly is understandably upset at the news that Jason and Liz are sleeping together. Alan and Monica discuss whether or not they should talk to Jason, but decide against it. Meanwhile, Stefan tries to talk to Nik, but Nik is still determined to talk to Liz. (can you say stalker?)

While "Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas plays...the Q's share Christmas together.

The mixed marrieds are together and happy. Jax and Chloe share a kiss while Ned and Alexis do the same.

Emily and Juan share a kiss under the mistletoe.

Bobbie is alone with a gift that Jerry had delivered to the hospital. She can't help but look a little sad as she eats her red licorice.

Roy comes across Hannah on the docks and gathers her up into a comforting hug.

Alone, Sonny stares out the window of his penthouse and watches the snow fall

Tammy and Mike leave together happily arm in arm just as stalker, I mean Nik, arrives at Kelly's to look for Liz.

At the art studio, Liz presents Jason with a Christmas gift and a kiss on the cheek. Jason is clearly touched by the gesture.

Stefan arrives at Laura's with her Christmas gift. He is saddened when no one answers his knock.

The reunited Scorpio's are happily gathered around the tree.
