Stefan is surprised by what Alexis has told him. She explains how she found out that she was Natasha and recalls a childhood story she knows he will remember. He tells her it is impossible to believe.

Jason pushes Brenda away, insisting she not use him to get to Sonny. He holds her by her arms so she won't hit him and tells her he came there to tell her he was sorry for what he had done to her. Brenda struggles with him and Jax walks in. Seeing all of this he hits Jason and the two get into a fist fight as Brenda watches on.

Carly is laying on the floor, bleeding, confused as to what is happening. She tries to make her way over to the phone but the pain is so strong she stops. Finally as she gets near it, grabs it down from the table, but looses consciousness before she can dial for help.

Brenda is dazed as the two fight but Jax stops when he realizes what's happening. Jason leaves and the nurse comes out to see what's happened. Jax tries to get through to her but she's not answering.

Bobbie talks to Monica about Nikolas' condition and neither can understand why he's still in ICU. They talk about Jason and the good man he could be. Monica feels for Robin when she finds out what's been going on with Carly Roberts.

Alexis believes she deserves his skepticism and knows they don't have a future together but wants the same protection he was going to give Katherine. Stefan thinks she's lying and she is not going to defend herself. He thinks this is an absurd story and that she is repeating her sins. He tells her there's no proof and she produces the proof that the workers in the villa found. Stefan thinks she could have forged the documents like she did last time. Alexis tells the whole story to him about her mother and their father. Stefan claims to not be too interested and says if it were true Helena would have killed her. Alexis tells him Helena knows and if he doesn't protect her she will slaughter her. He asks why she didn't come to him the minute she found out; she claims she was afraid, thinking he might also be in on it and now knows she should have gone straight to him. Stefan tells Alexis she was always a sister to him but now he no longer has one and demands that she leave. He tells her to have her new protector, Luke Spencer, help her out. Alexis lets him know she's not giving up on him and leaves.

Brenda doesn't respond to Jax. He gives the nurse a large check for her services and for her silence in the future. She talks Jax into letting her stay and help; he agrees. She leaves for the evening and Jax stays, letting Brenda know she is safe.

Carly is still out and Jason walks in to find her on the floor. He covers her with a blanket, picks her up and heads to the hospital.

Jax can't get Brenda to speak so he just makes himself comfortable and cleans up the mess Jason created. He rambles on about nothing while she stares into space. Jax talks about their time in Malibu and she is now looking at him. For him he says, that was a perfect time. He sits down next to her and she takes off his good luck charm and places it in his hand.

Bobbie goes in to speak with Nikolas and let him know he'll be going home in a few days. She tries to lift his spirits but he's not budging. Monica asks how he's doing and Bobbie says fine medically but psychologically not good. Bobbie gets paged to the ER.

Jason runs into the hospital with Carly and Bobbie is there. He asks her to stay with Carly and she says she will.

Stefan is in thought when Katherine appears. She wants to know what Alexis was up to and her tells her.

Alexis sneaks in to see Nikolas and he is sleeping.

Jax tells Brenda when she's better they're going to LA. She says she wants to go to Rodeo Drive. Brenda tells Jax she kissed Jason.

Jason is nervous for Carly and tells Renaldo, one of his bodyguards he can go home. He is also worried about Miss Roberts.

Carly is in the ER and she hears Bobbie's voice and begs her not to let them take her baby away from her.

Alexis tells Nikolas all he's missed; Stefan banishing her and Helena wanting to kill her. He's still asleep through all of this but she continues to spill all her feelings, especially regarding their family.

Katherine asks Stefan if it could be true but he doesn't really give her an answer. He does say that if she was his sister he can not accept her.

Jax asks if Jason took advantage of her and she says no, she came on to him. She wanted to send Sonny a message. She asks if he believes her and she claims it would be the ultimate revenge on Sonny. She wants to prove to him that he can't destroy her because she'll destroy herself first. Jax asks what she's doing and she thinks she's loosing her mind.

Jason waits for news on Carly, She has delivered a baby boy---but she is not doing so well. Bobbie, holding Carly's baby, tells her she better not leave her baby without a mother.

At the hospital, Bobbie and Jason waited to see if Carly's baby's heart problem could be reversed with medication. Meanwhile, Carly slipped into a coma and needed emergency surgery, which could possibly require a hysterectomy. Luke watched as Bobbie pleaded with Jason not to let that happen and to Luke's surprise, Jason agreed with Bobbie and took her advice. Meanwhile, Tony continued to pursue his custody options regarding Carly's baby and became enraged when he learned about the medical complications with Carly and the baby. Later, Bobbie learned that the medication hadn't helped the baby and that he would need surgery to correct his heart problem. Mac managed to place a call to Felicia, but Tess returned before Mac had the chance to tell Felicia that he was in trouble. Later, James told Tess that Mac had been able to reach a telephone and warned her to be more careful. Nikolas let Lucky know that he was not to blame for Nikolas's condition. Nikolas, however, still refused to see Sarah. Later, Alexis watched from afar as Stefan took Nikolas home.

Tony argued with Jason over his rights as the baby's potential father to decide on medical treatment for the infant. After conferring with Monica, Jason opted for the baby to have surgery, against Tony's wishes. The surgery was successful and Tony was saddened to learn that the baby's blood type ruled him out as the father. Monica told the rest of the Quartermaines that Jason's child had been born and the family converged on the hospital. Luke continued to wrestle with his conscience over whether or not to tell Bobbie that the baby was actually her grandson. An angry Luke then stopped the Quartermaine's public wrangling over the baby's future. After watching the behavior of his family, AJ decided to conduct his own paternity test at a later date so that the Quartermaines would not be alerted. Jax got an idea after a call from Robin seemed to lift Brenda's spirits. Jax and Brenda decided to spend New Year's Eve in an ordinary way and they watched the arrival of the new year on TV. For the first time in weeks, Brenda appeared to be happy and at peace. Nikolas returned home and found Sarah waiting for him, but Nikolas refused to open up to her. After being rejected by Nikolas, Sarah joined Liz at the Outback and Liz was disappointed that Lucky hadn't arrived for the New Year's Eve party. Justus and Dara managed to reconnect and as Dara sang, AJ and Keesha danced in the moonlight. Stefan told Katherine that he hoped she would move into Wyndemere with him.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Emily relates to Lila all that has happened with Carly. Bobbie arrives and tells the Quartermaines that Tony is definitely not the father of Carly's baby. Emily is very upset because of the whole baby affair and still doesn't believe Jason would cheat on Robin. Ned tries to comfort Emily. Monica still doesn't believe Carly is telling the truth either but she doesn't reveal to anyone why she feels like she does.

Tony walks up to Alan as he is watching the baby. Tony reveals to Alan that the blood test shows he could not be the father of Carly's baby. AJ walks up to see the baby and overhears Tony's news.

Carly awakens and Jason tells her what has happened. Carly is depressed and blames herself for the baby's problems. Jason tells her she isn't at fault and the baby is fine. When Carly asks him what the baby's name is, Jason tells her the baby hasn't been named and the nurses just call him Baby Boy Roberts. Carly gets upset telling Jason the name Roberts is a lie like everything else and she asks Jason to give the baby his name, Morgan. Jason agrees but tells Carly the baby is still hers. Jason also tells her Tony isn't the father of her baby.

Ned calls Brenda to see how she is doing and makes plans to visit her. Jax comes in and tells Brenda he has to leave for a business trip. Brenda tells Jax he can go that she is fine. Brenda also tells Jax she isn't too sure she likes having the nurse around. Jax convinces Brenda to keep the nurse and he leaves. Later, Ned arrives and in the course of his and Brenda's conversation, she tells him she had hired an accountant to look over her financial affairs when she was planning to leave town with Sonny. Upon hearing the name of the accountant, Ned gets concerned and makes a few phone calls.

Jason gets concerned about Carly's depression and gets Bobbie to look in on her. While Bobbie is inside talking to Carly, AJ confronts Jason and tells him it is just between the two of them now. Inside Carly's hospital room, Bobbie tries to console Carly telling her she isn't at fault for the baby's problems. Bobbie also tells Carly that she and Jason were responsible for the decision to give Carly an alternative to surgery so she could have more children. Carly thanks Bobbie but is curious as to why Bobbie would help her. Bobbie tells Carly it is because of what she told her in the OR. Carly automatically thinks she told Bobbie she was her daughter.

Ned finds out that Brenda's accountant has left town. Brenda, who had left the room when Ned made his phone calls, walks in just in time to hear Ned talking to Justus about her accountant. Ned tells her not to panic that even though Brenda signed over her power of attorney to the accountant, they don't know for sure her money is gone. Brenda makes the remark that she is still paying for her mistakes with Sonny and Ned leaves after telling Brenda's nurse he will see her later. The nurse asks Brenda if that means Ned will be coming back later that night. Brenda tells her yes and there is no reason for the nurse to stay since she will not be alone.

Bobbie reveals to Carly that she doesn't hate her anymore and the reason is because of Carly telling her in the OR to take care of her son. Because Carly was more concerned with her child, Bobbie tells her she doesn't see Carly as a selfish home wrecker anymore. Bobbie also tells Carly that she needs to go see her son and once she sees him, Carly will feel better.

Jason takes Carly to see her son and Bobbie runs into AJ in the hallway. Bobbie asks him to put aside whatever happened between he and Carly in the past and just back off Carly. AJ tells her that would be impossible. Once Carly sees her son, she is upset and asks Jason to take her back to her room.

Jax arrives in Paris on his "business" trip and goes to see Robin to ask her come back with him for Brenda's sake. While he is there and Brenda is all alone, Brenda takes a pair of scissors out of the drawer and rubs them along her face as she gets a far away look in her eyes.
