NBC's sci-fi drama Debris has snatched up General Hospital star Sebastian Roché (ex-Jerry Jacks), who says he's excited to play a mysterious MI-6 agent in the out-of-this-world drama that "will blow your minds.

General Hospital alum Sebastian Roché (ex-Jerry Jacks) has an impressive résumé that includes several primetime credits like Fringe and Vampire Diaries, and his list of enviable credits is about to get even longer. The actor has landed a recurring role in the upcoming NBC series Debris.

The new sci-fi drama centers on two agents (Jonathan Tucker and Riann Steele) with two different mindsets and from two different continents who must work together to figure out why an alien wreck is affecting humankind in odd ways. Deadline reports that Roché will play Brill, a mysterious MI-6 agent who may have his own agenda.

Shortly after news about his role in the series broke, Roché took to Instagram to share that he's super excited to be joining the new project. "Trust me, it's going to blow your minds!" he enthuses.

Debris hails from Almost Human creator J.H. Wyman, who worked with Roché on Fringe. Wyman will also be writing and executive producing the new series, which is said to be in the vein of The X-Files and Men in Black.

Debris is currently set to premiere on Monday, March 1, 2021.

Roché took on the role of GH's Jerry in 2007 and last appeared as the corporate raider in December of 2015. He has since appeared in shows like The Man in the High Castle, Genius, The Originals, The Young Pope, Strange Angel, and Batwoman.
