Now that her alter ego has met an untimely demise, Kelly Sullivan (Connie Falconeri) is taking a look back at the General Hospital role she's played since 2011.
"RIP Connie. It was a great two years," Sullivan shared on Twitter. "Thank you for your love and support. [I]t means so much."
In June, Sullivan revealed that her time in Port Charles would soon be coming to an end because her contract was not being renewed. Sullivan insisted she had "no ill feelings towards any of the staff or crew" at GH over the decision to have her exit the show.
Head writer Ron Carlivati called the decision to write off Sullivan's Connie as "agonizing."

Sullivan assumed the role of Kate Howard, and later her alter Connie Falconeri, in September 2011. The role marked Sullivan's first contract role in daytime. The actress has previously appeared as a day player on As the World Turns and One Life to Live.
After finishing her final scenes in July, Sullivan returned to Twitter with one final message, "Aaaaand that's a wrap!!"
