General Hospital will welcome Ingo Rademacher (Jasper Jacks) and Emmy winner Vanessa Marcil (Brenda Barrett) back to the show in the weeks ahead, as the show apparently prepares to revisit one of its epic love triangles.
Add Vanessa Marcil (Brenda Barrett) and Ingo Rademacher (Jasper Jacks) to the ever-growing list of stars lining up to help General Hospital mark its 50th anniversary.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Marcil and Rademacher will stick around for "more than a few weeks," but notes that ABC isn't saying anything about when the actors will first appear on-screen. It is expected that both will pop up before GH's anniversary on April 1.

It is widely expected that General Hospital will revisit the epic love triangle between Jax, Brenda, and Sonny.

Rademacher's proverbial dance card will be quite full. In addition to returning to General Hospital, the actor also will appear in the upcoming 16th cycle of ABC's hit reality series, Dancing With the Stars.

Rademacher joined General Hospital in January 1996. He exited the show in August 2000 to pursue an opportunity on the primetime soap Titans, but the series quickly folded. A year later, Rademacher returned to Port Charles and remained with the show through May 2011.

Marcil, meanwhile, created the role of Brenda in 1992. She exited the show in 1998, but returned in 2002 for a short-term engagement. Marcil remained away from Port Charles until August 2010, when the actress began a yearlong stay on the daytime soap.
