It's been over six months since Ingo Rademacher was last seen on-screen as General Hospital's Jax. The actor, however, has revealed that he'll be back on the ABC soap in the very near future. Rademacher debuted on GH in January 1996.
It may or may not have been meant to be a secret, but the proverbial cat is now out of the bag: Ingo Rademacher
(Jasper "Jax" Jacks
) is headed back to Port Charles. The actor made the announcement to followers on Twitter.
"Yes @sebroche [Sebastian Roché
)] and I r back on GH," Rademacher wrote.
In May 2011
, Rademacher announced that he'd been let go from General Hospital. While the news didn't surprise fans who had seen his on-screen time dwindle, the news certainly still stung. Rademacher had been with the show for more than 15 years.
"Don't expect to see me much on GH. Once a week seems to [be] the norm for me... if that," Rademacher told fans at the time. "I must have peed in the pool and was fresh out of chlorine. Sorry guys. I don't know what to tell you. It's not my call."
Rademacher joined General Hospital in January 1996. He exited the show in August 2000
to pursue an opportunity on the primetime soap Titans
, but the series quickly folded. A year later
, Rademacher returned to Port Charles.
ABC has yet to officially announce Rademacher's return.
