Another One Life to Live star is headed to General Hospital in the weeks ahead. Though initially unconfirmed by the network, a published report states that Florencia Lozano (Téa Delgado) will be dropping by the ABC soap for a short stint later this spring.
The actress reportedly broke the news of her General Hospital adventure at a staged reading of the play Busted over the weekend.
Several One Life to Live characters have set up shop on General Hospital. Kristen Alderson (Starr Manning) was the first former OLTL actress to be signed to a General Hospital contract, followed shortly thereafter by Michael Easton (John McBain). Roger Howarth (Todd Manning) was to have appeared only briefly on General Hospital, but was signed to a long-term contact in March.
Lozano originated the role of Téa on One Life to Live in January 1997. She remained with show for three years, before exiting the role. She returned briefly in 2002, before rejoining the show on a contract basis in 2008. Lozano remained with One Life to Live through the show's finale in January 2012.
Lozano is scheduled to begin taping her General Hospital scenes this week.
Since the original posting of this article, ABC confirmed Lozano's GH appearance and announced that she'll will hit the airwaves on May 7.
