One Life to Live star Kristen Alderson will be setting up shop on General Hospital for the long haul. Alderson announced on Twitter that she has signed a long-term contract with ABC's last-remaining soap. She'll first air in February.
Kristen Alderson (Starr Manning) hasn't yet had her first airdate on General Hospital, but the actress will apparently be sticking around for quite some time. The former One Life to Live star has announced that she's signed a long-term contract with GH.
"Just signed my General Hospital contract! 3 years!" Alderson wrote on Twitter. "Here we go...You guys ready!?"
As first reported earlier this month, Alderson and three of her One Life to Live co-stars will be crossing over to General Hospital beginning in late February. Alderson's on-screen parents, Roger Howarth (Todd Manning) and Kassie DePaiva (Blair Cramer), will appear briefly to help introduce Alderson's alter ego to the GH canvas.
When One Life to Live was canceled by ABC, Alderson and her brother, Edward, announced that they had not signed on to continue with the planned Internet version of the show. The Aldersons announced that they would instead relocate to the West Coast to seek out other opportunities during pilot season.
Alderson first reported to work today. She'll have her first on-screen appearance the week of February 20.
