Sean Blakemore caught the eye of General Hospital fans -- and apparently show executives. The GH newcomer has been signed to a contract with the ABC soap.
Sean Blakemore (Shawn Butler) will be sticking around Port Charles for the near future. The actor, who plays Balkan henchman-turned-Josslyn's bodyguard, Shawn Butler, has signed a contract with General Hospital.
Blakemore has made numerous appearances in guest-starring roles in primetime. Though it's his first contract role in daytime, General Hospital is not Blakemore's first soap gig. The actor appeared in two recurring roles on Days of our Lives in 2008 and 2009. In 2004, Blakemore appeared as Ben on The Young and the Restless.
Blakemore first appeared on General Hospital on January 21, 2011.
