Dominic Zamprogna hired to play... Dominic

Dominic Zamprogna joins the cast of General Hospital this month as someone Claudia hires to help her carry out her latest scheme. Zamprogna has appeared in numerous primetime projects, but this will be his first daytime role.

Port Charles might not need it, but the small New York town is about to get another mobster. Primetime veteran Dominic Zamprogna makes his first daytime appearance later this month in the role of "Dominic."

The Canadian-born Zamprogna is a veteran of, among many other programs, the 2004 update of Battlestar Galactica, the television adaptation of The Neverending Story, and the 1990s Nickelodeon mystery series, Are You Afraid of the Dark?

On General Hospital, Zamprogna's character will roped into Claudia's latest scheme. He begins airing June 22.
