44th Annual Daytime Emmys coverage: The Bold and the Beautiful's Jim O'Heir was the winner of the Outstanding Guest Performer, winning for something of a rarity in daytime: comedy.

OUTSTANDING GUEST PERFORMER

Jim O'Heir (Matt Cannistra, The Bold and the Beautiful)

While there is a lot talk about what happens on airplanes in the real world, fictional travel on The Bold and the Beautiful wins Emmys. Jim O'Heir picked up an Emmy in the Outstanding Guest Performer category. With talk that The Bold and the Beautiful is headed to South Africa in the months ahead, O'Heir might just be back on-screen.

"There's talk," O'Heir admits. "I did this with Monica Horan, who is mostly known from Everybody Loves Raymond, and they called us and said, 'Do you want to do this fun kind of thing, the two of you?' And I have many amazing people around me, and they know I love to have fun. They said, 'You'll have fun.' And we had the greatest day. And then we did it again a couple of months ago, and there's talk that we will be back, yes. But you guys, this is my Spicer moment! I need to yell at you or something! 'How dare you! How dare you!' Put it to any clip you want. I don't care. [Laughs]"

O'Heir didn't expect to hear his name said on Emmy Night.

"No, I didn't think it, because I didn't think I stood a chance. So I never thought there was a splitting of anything. I thought Monica. I'm a huge Tobin Bell fan, just from life and things he's done over the years. So I certainly expected to maybe hear his name. Truly, and I'm sure I'll watch it back, I kind of sat there stunned, because it made no sense. And then Larry King was up there. It was all very crazy. But really sweet."
