Outstanding Lead Actor

Michael Park (Jack Snyder, ATWT)
Episode 1
A worn-out Jack calls things off with Carly after she sets up Nick.

Episode 2
Jack tells Carly, who is dressed in a wedding gown, that he doesn't want to get back together with her.

Anthony Geary (Luke Spencer, GH)
Episode 1
Luke and Lulu share their memories of Laura.

Episode 2
When Laura emerges from her coma, Luke tells her that she was involved in a car accident.

Ricky Paull Goldin (Gus Aituro, GL)
Episode 1
Gus turns to Dinah after he learns that Harley kissed Mallet.

Episode 2
In a cabin with Harley, Gus starts to detox.

Notes
There were some audio problems in both of Goldin's submissions. His total time for all clips, however, was the longest of any of the nominees.

Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott, The Young and the Restless)
Episode 1
Jack erupts in violence after learning of Nick and Phyllis' affair.

Episode 2
As his father's life slowly slips away, Jack sits by John's bedside and reminisces.

Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin, The Young and the Restless)
Episode 1
Michael and Gloria collide when her learns that she tampered with Jabot's face cream.

Episode 2
Michael breaks down at Lauren's memorial service.


Outstanding Lead Actress

Maura West (Carly Tenney, ATWT)
Episode 1
Carly and Jack have a dramatic confrontation about their marriage and her lies. Jack leaves her.

Episode 2
Carly appears to Jack in her wedding dress in the hopes of reconciling, but she is rebuffed. He admits to leading her on. Angry, Carly dismisses Jack and warns him that she will not be waiting for him when he decides that he wants her back. He leaves, and she locks the door behind him.

Kim Zimmer (Reva Shayne, GL)
Episode 1
Billy takes Reva to a cancer support group, but she does not attend. She returns home with Billy and explains why the support group won't help and how it makes her feel to have breast cancer. Joshua arrives, and Reva tells him about Jonathan being the father of Lizzie's baby. Joshua promises that she will not have to deal with it alone.

Episode 2
Reva prepares for a bone marrow transplant from Jonathan even though she doesn't want to endanger his life. The transplant is a success, and she attempts to have a heart-to-heart with Jonathan, but he doesn't want to hear her "If I die" speech and tells her just to live. Back in her room, Reva has speaks with a young girl, another cancer patient, through a glass partition between their rooms and tells her the story of the Ugly Duckling.

Crystal Chappell (Olivia Spencer, GL)
Episode 1
Olivia confides in Buzz about the night she was raped and explains that it is the reason she hates her daughter Ava so much. But Buzz tells her that she and Ava are both victims of the same circumstance.

Episode 2
Olivia and Jeffrey's "Inside the Light" episode in which the two relive the night of the rape and how it affected both of their lives. The episode ends with Olivia professing her love to Buzz.

Jeanne Cooper (Katherine Chancellor, Y&R)
Episode 1
Katherine hands Jack his walking papers to appease Andrew Gibson; Katherine says goodbye to her granddaughter Mackenzie, who is leaving town.

Episode 2
Katherine sits at John's bedside telling stories about their childhood together; Katherine lends a sympathetic ear to Gloria in her time of need.

Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers, Y&R)
Episode 1
Phyllis has a romantic encounter with Nick; Phyllis consoles Michael about his grandmother's death; Phyllis argues with Jack about NVP; Phyllis has it out with Sharon.

Episode 2
Phyllis and Jack are stuck in an elevator during an ice storm. She is in labor and her baby is in a breach position. She asks him to promise that he will save the baby even if it means that she dies.
