Billie, Patrick and Chelsea watch as Bo and Hope's relationship begins to crumble. At first, Hope is in denial and refuses to believe that Bo would give Chelsea his car and continues to believe that Chelsea is lying. Finally, Bo admits the truth; he signed for Chelsea to get a temporary license and he allowed her to drive his car. Hope is devastated and can't believe Bo was part of the cover-up & lies. Bo is devastated as Hope rushes out.

Austin makes his pitch to Carrie: she can work with him and supervise the product line of her old company, highstyle. To Sami and Lucas's horror, Carrie is tempted. Lucas asks about Carrie's old employees, can Austin afford to re-hire them? Lucas makes a counter proposal: he and Titan will start a "highstyle" division in Los Angeles and will hire back all of Carrie's former employees. Carrie, to Austin's disappointment and Sami's glee, accepts Lucas's proposition. Sami tells Austin now that Carrie's working for Titan, he'll be attacking Carrie as well as Lucas. Austin knows, but Carrie hasn't left him any other choice.

Bonnie continues to play the "heart attack" card, stopping Mimi from telling Shawn the truth. Bonnie asks if, for her piece of mind, Shawn and Mimi would get married as soon as possible.

Belle talks to Caroline about her continuing love for Shawn. Caroline encourages Belle to think about all she has in her life; a good marriage to Philip and their child. Besides, Shawn's moved on and Belle can't be with him; he's about to marry Mimi.

Bo is torn between helping his wife and protecting his daughter. He desperately tries to track down Hope. Billie and Chelsea angrily react to Patrick, who foiled their plans for Billie to take the blame for Chelsea's crime. Patrick defends his actions but neither mother nor daughter wants to hear it. Billie says their relationship is over. Patrick gets on Bo's case for obstructing justice as a member of the police force. Bo promises to do his best to take care of Chelsea. Billie is officially cleared of Zack's death but charges are forthcoming for Chelsea.

Hope is furious with Bo for lying to her and finds comfort with Jennifer. Jennifer can't believe the lengths Bo went to protecting Chelsea. She tries to get Hope to give Bo the benefit of the doubt but it falls on deaf ears. Patrick shows up and Hope stuns them both: she never wants to see Bo or Chelsea again.

While Mimi tries to tell Shawn that he's Claire's father, Bonnie continues to weave her web of deceit. She fakes her illness and Lexie buys it, telling Mimi Bonnie potentially has heart disease. Bonnie gets her "dying" wish when Mimi promises to marry Shawn.

Abe's corneal transplant is complete but the one complication he didn't bargain for – Tek is apparently still after his wife. Tek kisses Lexie and says he loves her. Lexie insists she is going to stay with Abe.

While Lexie eavesdrops, Abe apologizes to Tek for suspecting him of chasing her. Seeing a chastened Lexie, Tek says he wouldn't come between the Carters. Lexie thanks him for lying, but he mentions he's in love with her. She explains she loves her husband, then holds his hand as the nurse removes his bandages. Lexie's the first thing Abe sees with his new corneas. They cry and embrace. Abe's happiness is tinged with sadness for his donor and his or her generous family. Lexie cries anew when they learn Zack donated the corneas. Abe promises to cherish her and not take anything for granted. They agree to a new start in Zack's honor and exchange "I love you"s. Tek promises Lexie's happiness won't last.

Carrie is uneasy about celebrating with Lucas when she hasn't signed a Titan contract. Roman runs into them and is ecstatic she's staying in town. Nicole finishes a bottle of champagne and flirts with Roman before meeting her business partners. Investor Larry Tate wants to arrange more takeovers for Austin. He resists, but Nicole says he can use Tate's money to buy six companies and give one to Carrie. Roman thinks Nicole may have a heart. They share champagne and she offers to go home with him. He begs off because of the alcohol, but she follows him to his hotel room. Carrie overhears Austin assert takeovers are his future. She takes him to task for firing everyone, and orders Tate to shut up. She storms out, Austin on her heels. The only thing she's ashamed of is not leaving him sooner. They weren't meant to be. Sami prevents Lucas from following; she says their siblings won't end up together.

Chelsea cries in the courtroom and wishes she had a second chance. Kate gently says you can't go back and she's going to use her influence to spare Chelsea from justice. ADA Brent Weitz tells Chelsea that not speeding isn't enough. He suggests she get an attorney, because a witness saw her reaching for her phone! Bo insists to Billie he doesn't have to choose between his wife and daughter. Weitz asks him to arrest Chelsea. The D.A. doesn't like that she has no remorse. Bo claims Hope will come around, but Chelsea says her stepmom will never forgive her. Billie dreads Hope's vehemence. Kate looks forward to it pushing Bo back to Billie, but she refuses to capitalize on the tragedy. Chelsea cries as Bo leads her to jail.

Alice and Maggie have joined Jennifer to support Hope. She will never forgive Bo; she can't even look at him. Alice says she must, and Jennifer elaborates that Hope must save her marriage. After Addie died, Alice and Tom held on to each other. Jennifer brings up the difference: Chelsea. Hope declares that if Bo supports his daughter, he'll lose his marriage. When Jennifer tries to call him, she activates a saved voicemail of Zack saying it's time for Mommy to pick him up from school. The ladies insist she needs Bo. She agrees to talk to him, but God help him if he's with the Reeds. In the courthouse, Hope sees Chelsea hugging Billie goodbye as Billie says she and Bo will be there for her.

It is the morning of Zack's funeral and Bo still can't find Hope. Very concerned about her, he goes to see Jennifer and Frankie. Jennifer tells him that Hope spent the night but she's gone to church doesn't want to see Bo. He's heartsick, desperate to be there for his wife at this time of deep sorrow and grief. Jennifer helps Frankie get ready for the funeral. She lends him a pair of Jack's cufflinks and remembers romantic times with Jack. Jack appears to Jennifer and again urges her to be with Frankie. Helping Jennifer with her coat, Frankie (still in a leg cast) loses his balance and they fall onto the sofa... and into a passionate kiss!

Kate visits Chelsea and urges her to attend her brother's funeral... to make her look more sympathetic in court. (Kate's real objective is to drive a further wedge between Bo and Hope so that Billie can be with Bo.) Chelsea is torn. Irate Billie calls her mother on what she's doing. Kate plays innocent and leaves. Billie warns Chelsea not to go to the service.

Bonnie spent the night with Mimi and Shawn recuperating from her "cardiac episode." Mimi, deeply worried about her mom's health, makes her a healthy breakfast... turning Bonnie's stomach. Faking illness to push Mimi and Shawn to marry quickly, Bonnie begs her daughter not to tell Shawn the truth about being the biological father of Belle's baby. Mimi is deeply torn. Kate shows up and Bonnie lets on that Mimi knows the truth. Kate realizes she'll have to keep an eye on Mimi.

Doug and Julie take Hope to St. Luke's. Needing to check on him, Hope opens his coffin and lovingly combs Zack's hair and gives him his favorites to keep him company. Bo shows up to comfort her but she rejects him and refuses to sit with him at the service. Bo is devastated at the on-going rift between them. Caroline, Grandpa Shawn, Victor, Kate, Alice, Maggie, Jennifer, Frankie, Shawn, Mimi, Belle, and Philip all arrive for the service. At the funeral, Shawn delivers a deeply moving, tearful tribute to his brother... stressing Zack's honesty. Mimi is profoundly affected... knowing she has to tell Shawn the truth! To everyone's surprise, Chelsea shows up and Hope goes ballistic and slaps her son's killer in front of family and friends.

John takes a moment to visit with Abe who is thrilled to actually see his friend again after the cornea transplant. He explains that he's not at Zack's memorial service because Marlena is there with Alex. Assuring him Marlena will come to her senses, Abe suggests he use his ISA expertise to investigate Alex. Thanks to a guard's mistake, Lois discovers the door to her room is unlocked and she slips out. Leaving the memorial service because he's feeling light-headed, Marlena takes Alex back to the penthouse and he boasts the next time they're in a church will be to renew their wedding vows. When Lois calls, Alex orders her to go back but she threatens to tell John his real plan if he doesn't come help her. He finally calms her down but when he tells Marlena he's got to run an errand, she won't let him leave. After Hope slaps Chelsea for showing at the memorial service, Bo asks Billie how she could have allowed her to come to the church. Shawn is stunned to learn that Chelsea killed Zack. Chelsea tells Shawn she's sorry but he yells at her to get out. He then stares at his father in disbelief. Victor offers to stay with Chelsea but Bo claims Hope doesn't want him so he'll help his daughter. After warning Mimi never to lie to him, Shawn blasts his father for lying to Hope. Patrick arrives and tries to comfort Hope. Bo orders him to stay away from her but Hope claims she can trust him more than Bo. While arguing with Kate about Bo and Hope, Billie yells at Chelsea when she starts complaining. Back at the loft Mimi catches her mother drinking beer and announces that she is going to tell Shawn the truth but will probably lose his love. Lois returns to her room just before John enters and injects her with a truth serum.
