Bo continues his trek after Vin Ramsell and stops at a small back road bar in Oklahoma. He eats breakfast then shows the locals a photo of Ramsell. Nobody admits to recognizing Vin, so Bo apparently leaves. As Jake, one of the patrons, makes a call to Vin, Bo reappears to take the phone. Jake, threatening Bo with a gun, gets the phone back. After he leaves, Bo manages to write down Vin's phone number that he memorized when he had the phone.
Rex has a luncheon at Tuscany to celebrate his early completion of courses at Salem University. Before everyone leaves for the luncheon, Marlena visits Sami and Belle, asking them to be mentors to Cassie. Meanwhile, Tony warns both Lucas and Cassie to stay away from each other after he witnesses an exchange between them. Cassie ignores Tony and asks Lucas for a ride to Tuscany. As the guests arrive and Maggie seats them, Rex and Cassie are surprised to learn of all their other half-siblings that Marlena has with previous men. Marlena and John overhear Sami talking to Tony and learn about the incident at the Blue Note. Marlena tells Sami to stay away from Tony, but Sami later tells Tony that their relationship hasn't changed. Tony is glad because he would like Sami to help him break up John and Marlena. Tony orders Lucas to stay away from Cassie again, but Cassie has other plans. She plants a kiss on Lucas. Throughout the luncheon, Rex and Mimi cleverly collect DNA samples from all of his unsuspecting family members for his research. Afterward, they go back to his room to start analyzing the samples, but Mimi successfully distracts him as they make out...
Jennifer and Hope are planning the wedding as Jack talks on the phone about the show. Station manager Barry Schmenkmen drops in and proposes that Jack and Jennifer seriously consider broadcasting their nuptials on their show. Although hesitant as first, they come around and agree to have their wedding aired for all of Salem to see. Before Hope leaves, she tells Jennifer to get ready for her bachelorette party. Outside the house, Hope calls Bo to check on him and wishes him a continued safe journey...
Brady surprised Chloe with news that she would be auditioning for Cecilia Marrin that evening at the Blue Note. Chloe was distraught that her voice was not at its best - and perhaps lost due to her illness. Encouraging her to harmonize in a duet with him, Brady restored Chloe's confidence in her talent and herself.
Philip stopped at the Kiriakis Mansion to say goodbye before leaving for the Marine Base. Nicole's delight at welcoming Philip went downhill when she learned Victor had been reporting how happily married they were. Moments after Philip left, angry at being ignored by Victor, Nicole picked a fight and hit him with a glass vase. Helped to his feet by Nico, Victor immediately ordered Nico to lock Nicole in her room.
Belle and Shawn were having trouble spending time together even in public at the Brady Pub because of Belle's Love is Blind fame. Gabby was quick to remind her of contract commitments, while Philip arrived to say this appearance would be his last for the dating show. Still interested in Philip, Cassie begged to join Shawn when the two were left behind at the Pub.
At the DiMera Mansion, Tony interrupted a near-kiss between Cassie and Lucas. During business discussions, Lucas said he was impressed with the extensive power of DiMera Enterprises, noting Tony's goal was to "neutralize" Victor. An unexpected visit from Sami sent Lucas hiding on the terrace. He listened as Tony and Sami played a cat and mouse game discussing Lexie and Brandon's night together. She remarked that she had taken care of Lexie, but suggested the need to keep Brandon & Lexie apart just as Tony wanted to break up Marlena and John. When she'd left, Lucas confided his desire to get even with Sami. Tony agreed to hand Sami over to Lucas once he got the information he needed about John - even offering his assistance to Lucas. Tony sealed the alliance with a toast "To John & Sami" as a delighted Lucas replied "They'll never know what hit 'em."
Philip quietly passed the Blue Note seeing Chloe and Brady singing together. Moving to a secluded pier, he opened his duffle bag and removed his rifle.
Bo has followed Vin to Texas, he stops by a Tex-Mex store/restaurant to eat, from there he calls Jack to have him research the Del Rios hotel, it is a hot spot for murderers, drug dealers and every other common criminal. Jack returns his call quickly, even forfeiting the final tux fitting for his wedding. He lets him know that an ex-con, Jasper owns the place; he was also a former cellblock mate of Vin Ramsel. Bo, armed with a few names, arrives at the sleazy hotel. Bo finds Jasper and two other men sitting in the lobby. After drinking tequila and starting on a beer, Bo asks about Vin and claims he is looking for work and a room. Jasper tells him that Vin is fishing and probably won't be back for a week. Bo doesn't care; he will wait on him and wants a room. Jasper doesn't have work and says rooms aren't for free. Bo brings out a wad of cash and counts it in front of the three gentlemen. Jasper walks away from the bar as his two friends come up behind Bo. Using his cop instincts Bo hits one with a bottle and the other with his fist and a fight ensues.
Chloe is nervous, as the night of her performance has arrived. She wouldn't let Nancy or Brady invite her friends, so The Blue Note is empty save the staff, pianist, Nancy, Chloe and Brady. Chloe tells Nancy she is going to cancel, but Brady arrives at the right moment and tells her no. Over his shoulder, Chloe sees Philip; she thinks he is still in love with her and came uninvited. Nancy isn't happy to see him and suggests he leaves. Brady announces that he invited Philip, thought it would be good for Chloe. Philip wishes her luck and gives her a kiss on the cheek. Brady shows Chloe a stuffed pig and reminds her that Cecile Marin, who had just arrived, was once a measly hog-caller. Nancy invites Cecile to sit with her, but she is looking for Craig, Nancy informs her that Craig is in surgery and won't be attending. Chloe gets more nervous as Cecile approaches the table. She introduces herself and thanks Cecile for coming and the flowers during her hospital stay. She apologizes because she hasn't performed in a while, she may not be perfect. Ms Marin informed her in no uncertain terms that she did not travel to see mediocre, she wants perfection.
Jack and Jennifer decide to sleep apart the night before their wedding. Jack heads to his parents and Jennifer goes to her bachelorette party.
The party is at Echelon, it is ladies night and the hosts are all handsome men. A nice table is set up for the party, the guest list includes: Jennifer, Hope, Maggie, Lexie, Marlena, Belle, Cassie, Sami, and Kate. Basic Black provided gift bags for the ladies including new perfume and a prototype of days of the week panties courtesy of Ms Belle Black. Cassie thinks it is lame that Jennifer is marrying the same man again and gets intrigued by the waiter, eventually slipping away to meet with him. Sami forgets her present and goes to the car; she bumps into Lucas on the way and wonders why he is there. Kate spots Lucas as well and asks him what he is doing there, considering it is closed to men. Lucas reveals that he is working for Tony and Kate faints. The ladies rush over and Marlena tries to wake Kate up. Maggie notices Lucas and also asks the ever-famous question. She is sure that Lucas isn't a patron of the place. Lucas feigns forgetfulness, claiming he forgot it was Ladies Night. Sami doesn't buy it and tries to start something with Kate and Lucas; Marlena drags her away and back to the party table. Belle tells the group she hopes that when her and Shawn get married she has a party just like this one, Cassie asks her what makes her so sure that they'll get married.
Mimi stops by to see Rex, but he is too busy to talk, until he sees the red dress she is wearing. They kiss, to relax him, according to Mimi. Rex is hungry so they take Mimi's new car, courtesy of the LIB winnings, and get take-out Chinese food. Rex wants to get back to the house; he is waiting on the lab results of the DNA samples. When they return, Rex wants to skip the meal and get to dessert, a la Mimi. The test results are faxed to him and he isn't happy of the outcome. He gets mad and yells that something is wrong with him; he thinks the results are wrong.
Chloe is too nervous to sing at The Blue Note, the pianist starts the song many times before she apologizes to the audience. Brady tells her that she will not quit and that her voice is fine. In the meantime, Belle, Shawn, Victor, and a reluctant Nicole arrive to see the performance. Belle wants to go talk to Chloe, but Shawn thinks Brady can handle it. Brady decides to start singing a duet to encourage Chloe. He begins and after just a few chords bows out and lets Chloe shine. She does wonderfully and receives a standing ovation. Belle and Shawn congratulate her; she wonders how they knew to be there, Brady had told them. Victor also congratulates her; Nicole does too in her own little way. Ms Marin tells Chloe that she has grown in her singing ability. She can tell that Chloe is a woman that has been through a lot, she now sings from her soul. Ms Marin says her goodbyes and tells Chloe she will be in touch. Nancy and Chloe share a very special mother/daughter moment when Nancy tells her how proud she is of her. She can't believe the woman she became. Victor stops Ms Marin before she leaves and speaks quietly with her. Nicole is unhappy to be there and drinks martinis until time to leave. During the commotion of Chloe's congratulatory sentiments, Philip slips out unnoticed. Shawn and Belle are dancing and Belle wonders where Philip could have gone without saying goodbye.
Rex tells Mimi that the DNA tests must be wrong OR that his study of his own DNA is wrong because it is revealed that Belle is not his sister. Their DNAs don't match at all. He is very upset and mad, thinking he may not be as smart as he once thought. Meems cell phone rings, it is Mark, a LIB fan he invites Mimi out for a latte. She asks Rex if she should go, it is obvious he is jealous and doesn't want her too, but tells her to go ahead because he is too busy anyway. She confirms the location of the date, kisses Rex on the head and leaves.
Philip arrives at the pier after leaving the Blue Note; he is dressed in scuba gear and slips into the water with an underwater camera. His job completed, he changes clothes and begins to do Morse code with a flashlight, Mimi sees him and calls his name. Philip is startled to see her and asks what she is doing on the pier. She explains about her date and that it isn't with Rex. Philip tells her not to worry, it is his fault if he doesn't see how gorgeous she is. He promises to spend some time with her in a few days and she leaves. Philip continues with his Morse code.
Bo is still at the Del Rio fighting the two men, they have knives, but Bo isn't deterred. He kicks the knives from their hands and sends them to the street. Hope is in Salem and gets a feeling something is wrong, she calls his cell, but he was unable to get it due to the fight. He calls her back afterwards and she senses he was in trouble. Bo tells her that he was in a fight, but he is fine. Hope wants to go to Texas, but Bo tells her No, it is too dangerous. They hang up; Bo is ready to eat and heads to the store. Meanwhile, Hope calls Caroline and Shawn Sr to see if they will watch Zack while she goes to Texas, they think it is a great idea, so does she. Vin arrives at the Del Rio while Bo is out, Jasper tells him someone is looking for him. Vin doesn't want to see anyone and advises Jasper to lie and get rid of whoever it is. He goes upstairs to bed and moments later Bo returns and asks for his key. He asks Jasper if Vin is back, Jasper tells Bo that Vin may never come back, Bo isn't upset, he can't wait a few days and goes to bed.
At the Kiriakis Mansion Victor recalled Nicole's drinking embarrassing him at the Blue Note. Nicole's accusations that Victor was trying to get rid of Chloe, resulted in his threatening to keep her from going anywhere. Once again, Nicole was locked in her room while Victor delighted in making his wife heel. But later, Victor was on the phone discussing specified funds being transferred to a European account.
Jack broke with tradition seeing Jen before the wedding. Confirming that Best Man Lucas had the ring, Jack realized he & Jen had one another's vows. Sneaking in to the salon while she had a facial, he heard Jen speak of her love for him as he exchanged the pages.
Celebrating her successful audition, Chloe had a brief visit from Philip who was surprised to find her wearing the pin he'd given her. Shortly after, Cecilia Marrin arrived, offering a job touring with her company through Europe instead of the Julliard Scholarship. Both Chloe and Brady were taken aback hearing it would be years – not months.
At the DiMera Mansion, Lucas followed orders by frisking business visitors before entry. Arriving simultaneously, Marlena was astonished to learn that Lucas was involved with DiMera. She told him this association would prove him an unfit father – and that she would testify on Sami's behalf to gain full custody of Will. Overhearing this, Tony told Marlena she would never do that or anything to cross him. Concerned that the Twins were in danger, Marlena announced that she would take them out of the Mansion. Tony's swift reply was that her motive for coming was because they wanted each other - followed by a kiss – for which he was slapped in return.
Ops paid an unexpected visit to John informing him of Lucas's affiliation with Tony. Planning to learn more from Lucas at the wedding, John insisted that Ops immediately bug Lucas' car and apartment instead of legally waiting for a Court order. Despite Ops arguments, John felt he had to play the game DiMera's way even if it involved killing Tony. Returning from the DiMera Mansion, Marlena was in agreement with John that Tony had to be stopped but didn't mention Tony's advances. A phone call about their "special moment" made Marlena hang up on Tony without telling John.
As Jack & Jen nervously awaited a promised wedding gift from Bill Horton, Jack opened the door to find a surprise waiting. And at the Kiriakis Mansion, Nicole was in her room, wondering if Victor would let her out to attend the wedding. Hearing Philip in the hall, she told him the door was locked from the outside and begged that he get her out.
