Days of our Lives' 50th anniversary is shaping up to be a truly golden event. Not only is the soap opera pulling out all the stops storyline-wise, NBC's longest-running series is making its big moment special off-screen, as well. The soap opera has announced the release of a commemorative 50th anniversary coffee table photo book as well as a national book tour that will bring the show's cast directly to fans.
Written by the show's executive producer, Greg Meng, Days of our Lives: 50 Years is an in-depth, photographic journey of the Emmy-winning soap opera. Celebrating five decades of being on the air, the book showcases new and exciting views of the iconic series via rare black-and-white historical images and a wealth of full color photos that highlight iconic characters and beloved stories.
"As a longtime member of the Corday Productions family, it is a privilege to present this memory book," says Meng of the exciting new collector's item, which is available now for pre-order and will be available for purchase in book stores nationwide starting Tuesday, October 27. "Days of our Lives: 50 Years is a collection of rare photos providing a big picture view of the show's history while reflecting the heart and soul of the show through some of the beloved and iconic stories during the first 50 years. This is a tribute to our family of fans around the world."
