It's only a matter of time before Days of our Lives fans will see Stephen Nichols' Steve Johnson and Mary Beth Evans' Kayla Brady reunite in Salem, but why wait until the fall when you can see the pair together right now?

Evans has recorded a special video interview with her onscreen lover that answers questions sent in by fans and honors the long history the two actors have shared.

"This week is the 27th anniversary of the wedding of Steve & Kayla, and in thinking of that, I can't help but think of the amazing gift these characters gave me -- a 29-year friendship with Stephen Nichols," Evans wrote on her blog, where the video can be found. "Over the course [of] those 29 years, we have laughed, cried and loved each other. And to have the opportunity to work together again, after years apart, is something for which I am so grateful."

She continues, "In honor of our 27th wedding anniversary, I wanted to share a short conversation between the two [of] us. Thanks for your help with the questions -- we'll do this again soon!"
