If all the hearts, candy, and rainbows of Valentine's Day make you want to gag, then perhaps Brandon Beemer's latest project is more up your alley. The former soap stud -- known for his roles as Owen Knight on The Bold and the Beautiful, Shawn Brady on Days of our Lives, and Seth on General Hospital -- has joined horror icon Robert Englund (a.k.a. Freddy Krueger) in Fear Clinic, a terrifying thriller set to be released on Blu-ray and DVD next week.
Based on the fan favorite 2009 FEARnet.com series, Fear Clinic follows Dr. Andover (Englund), a physician who uses a homemade Fear Chamber to create exposure therapy hallucinations that cure patients with trauma-induced phobias. He's surprised by the return of five desperate patients -- all of whom are horrified when the phobias they previously developed from a shooting massacre begin to haunt them again. But the biggest surprise is what they encounter in the good doctor's Fear Chamber, which is far more terrifying than all their worst fears combined.
The film, which also stars Days of our Lives' Felisha Terrell (ex-Arianna Hernandez), Stone Sour and Slipknot lead vocalist Corey Taylor, Fiona Dourif, Angelina Armani, and Thomas Dekker, will be available on both Blu-ray and DVD on Tuesday, February 10.
