Days of our Lives is casting the recurring role of Ted -- and the show is looking for actors with a strong voice.

Days of our Lives' casting spree continues. The NBC soap is seeking a "gorgeous male of any ethnicity" for a new recurring role.

The new character is being called "Ted" in the show's breakdowns. He is described as a "mysterious man who has been betrayed by a loved one and has his sights set on revenge."

Actors should be in their mid- to late 30s and need a "strong voice."

In related news, DAYS is also seeking a 30something, gorgeous male for the role of "Clint," who is described as "edgy and rugged." Some fans have wondered if the character name is a nod to a One Life to Live character -- which led to further speculation that the character might interact with Kassie DePaiva's Eve.

Do you think Ted is code for a possible recast? Do you have another theory? Tell us what you think in the Comments area below, or you can also click here to submit feedback.
