Days of our Lives tackles real-life drama with autism story DAYS fires Ed Scott in "change for the better"

Intrigue, drama, and surprises -- three things every soap fan wants from their favorite show. But the drama is supposed to play out on the screen not behind-the-scenes. In a move that is said to be in the "best interest" of the show, Days of our Lives has dismissed co-executive producer Ed Scott amid reports that Scott had been rewriting the show's storylines and dialogue without permission.

Are you glad that Stefano DiMera is returning to DAYS?
» The story: Mascolo, DAYS reach deal for Stefano to return

Yes. DAYS isn't DAYS without Mascolo's Stefano stirring things up.
I like Mascolo as Stefano, but I tire of the constant ins and outs.
Stefano has gotten stale. I think the character needs a permanent exit.
I like that Stefano causes trouble, disappears and then comes back later.
I'd like to see Stefano converted to a good guy. That might be fun.
I have no opinion about Mascolo's return as Stefano at this time.
