About the DAYS Family Trees

.com's Days of our Lives Family Tree section. In this section you will be able to browse through genealogical breakdowns of some of the most prominent family in DAYS's history. While we strive to include information about all of the past and present Salem families, but that is not always possible based upon information that is available. However, you will find that the "trees" listed here are more than extensive.
Each Family Tree provides detailed history of marriages, relatives, and children for all the members of the given family. When available, you'll be able to further your research by visiting the indepth character profiles from the Who's Who character profiles section.
At the bottom of each Family Tree page you will find a "Key" box that will explain all of the abbreviates and codes found in the tree. You'll also find a "Branching Out" section that will allow you to swing from one Family Tree to another.
Understanding the DAYS Family Trees
Some of the family trees have a tendency to really branch out. But don't blame us! It's those wacky Salem citizens and all of their marrying and cheating ways that make the trees so..so..well so bushy!
Here's a look at a portion of the Horton family tree as well as an explanation on how to read the chart.

According to this tree, Tom Horton (now deceased) married (m.) Alice Grayson. They had a son (c.) Tommy Horton Jr., who married (m.) then divorced Kitty Horton (now deceased), and had a daughter named Sandy with her. If any of them had an affair (a.), been raped (r.), or been married more than once (m.) that would be noted. This tree would continue to go on to list marriages, affairs, and children of each family member.
