Blake Berris is returning to his role as Days of our Lives' Nick Fallon as part of a spooktacular story in which a possessed Marlena (Deidre Hall) brings devilish Salemites back from the dead.

A little hell-raising just isn't enough for the devil on Days of our Lives. His next move of terror is raising villainous Salemites from the dead -- one of them being nightmarish Nick Fallon (Blake Berris).

The zombie-like storyline is set to kick off on Monday, November 1, when a possessed Marlena (Deidre Hall) stirs up some devilish trouble by bringing several long-buried characters out of their graves. Vincent Irizarry has already confirmed that he will be reprising his role as devious Deimos Kiriakis for the spooky story, and now DAYS site Jason47 reports that Berris and his love-to-hate alter ego, Nick, will also be part of the ghoulish fun.

There's no news yet on exactly what kind of trouble Zombie Nick might cause when he and other undead Salemites wreak havoc on Tuesday, November 2, but it will likely include Gabi (Camila Banus), who sent Nick to his grave with a fatal gunshot in 2014.

But then again, Nick could terrorize almost anyone in Salem -- lord knows he was hated by all. Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) summed it up best when he celebrated Nick's death with a toast in which he proclaimed, "May we rest in peace, knowing he's rotting in hell." But, as the famous Dawn of the Dead saying goes, when there's no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth -- and that's exactly what's in store for Salem next week!

Berris took on the role of DAYS' Nick in 2006 and played him on a recurring basis until 2014. He also temporarily stepped in to play the role of Damian Spinelli on General Hospital when a scheduling conflict prevented original portrayer Bradford Anderson from making a return. Some of Berris' other credits include Breaking Bad, The Big Bang Theory, Longmire, and Pretty Little Liars. He has also been working on an artistic film about soap opera fandom, titled Fangirl.
