Days of our Lives spoilers, January 28: A wild Salem night before the wedding

It's the night before Jada (Elia Cantu) and "Rafe's" (Galen Gering) wedding, so Salem is ready for quite a celebration. Stephanie (Abigail Klein) throws a bachelorette party in her apartment where the drinks are flowing and the games are being played.

Chanel (Raven Bowens) is drowning her sorrows in alcohol after her breakup with Johnny (Carson Boatman), so Paulina (Jackee Harry) is there for her daughter, but Chanel doesn't want to wallow in self-pity.

To that end, she has a conversation with an inflatable doll and makes her way to Small Bar before the evening is through. That's where she runs into Shawn (Brandon Beemer). Things get a little too close for comfort between Chanel and Shawn, so will they end up in bed, or will Shawn realize that Chanel is too drunk to think straight?

"Rafe" knows how to party

At The Brady Pub, Arnold has a good time with the stripper Rafe's friends hired as the entertainment. EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) looks on nervously, hoping that Arnold doesn't blow his cover, but Arnold is having the time of his life. When Jada shows up in her wedding gown, he makes an excuse to not see her.

Later, Arnold ends up in a Salem Inn room with the stripper while the real Rafe languishes in the DiMera tunnels. Will Arnold be able to keep his cover long enough for him and Jada to say 'I Do'?

The night also takes a turn for Belle (Martha Madison) and EJ. Sami's (Alison Sweeney) sister and ex-husband were lovers before but have turned into rival attorneys who can't stop arguing. Still, the sexual tension is always right beneath the surface.

After Belle and EJ get into another heated discussion, passion erupts, leading to a serious kiss between the pair. That kiss is about to lead somewhere else. Is Belle really over Shawn, or is she using EJ to get over Shawn? As for EJ, he is not really hung up on anyone right now, so Belle could be just what he needs. Of course, he'll never want her learning who is tied up beneath the DiMera mansion.
