Born Richard Charles Herbst in Queens, New York, Rick Hearst attended the University of Texas and the Circle in the Square Conservatory, where he majored in Acting.

Rick previously starred in the daytime drama series Guiding Light as Alan-Michael Spaulding and Days of our Lives, where he portrayed Scott Banning, and The Young and the Restless where he played the evil Matt Clark.

His previous television series credits include guest starring roles on Charmed, The Jenny Show, Maggie Winters, Beverly Hills, 90210, and Two of A Kind.

When Rick is not working, he enjoys carpentry and woodworking. Rick stands 5'10," and has brown hair and eyes. His birthday is January 4.
