Due to CBS Sports coverage of the US Open tennis tournament, today's CBS daytime lineup -- The Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful, As the World Turns and Guiding Light -- was pre-empted.
There will be no "lost" episodes as a result of this scheduling change. The regular broadcast schedule will resume tomorrow, Tuesday, September 4th.

At Forrester Creations, Donna looked at wedding gowns. Donna jokingly told Jackie she wanted to wear a red dress with a neckline down to her waist just to irritate Stephanie. Jackie lectured Donna about how wrong it was to marry Thorne because she did not love him. Jackie advised that Brooke was more than capable of handling Stephanie on her own. Besides, Jackie reminded Donna that Ridge had dropped his pursuit of custody of the children. Thorne arrived at the office. He told Donna that Alexandra was ill and he wanted to reschedule the wedding. After Donna reminded that if they postponed the wedding they would have to post pone the honeymoon, Thorne changed his mind about rescheduling their wedding.
Meanwhile at home, the children enjoyed their time home with Brooke. Ridge stayed and helped the children to make a smooth transition home to Brooke. The children asked to go to Big Bear. Ridge and Brooke planned to take the children on an overnight to Big Bear the following day.
At the lab, Rick warned Ashley that Ridge is capable of loving two women at the same time. Rick did not want to see Ashley be hurt by Ridge. Rick reiterated again to Ashley that Brooke and Ridge go back and forth but always end up together. Ridge entered the lab and asked to speak with Ashley alone. Ridge apologized to Ashley for not personally telling her that he had brought the children home to Brooke. Ashley assumed the worst about their relationship and assumed that Ridge would tell her that it is over. Ridge explained that he wanted things back to normal between him and the children. Ridge explained that he and Brooke were again sharing custody of the children as they did previously, before the children were removed from Brooke's care. Ridge asked Ashley if she be would be upset if he went to Big Bear with the children and Brooke. Ridge explained he needed to spend time with them to make the children's transition a smooth one. Ashley told Ridge that if he needed to be with his family she understood. Ashley revealed that she loves Ridge and is afraid that she is losing him to Brooke. Ridge told Ashley that she is the woman that he loves and wants to be with, regardless of his trip to Big Bear with Brooke and the children.
Katie visited Brooke at home. Katie encouraged Brooke that after she and Ridge go to Big Bear, his relationship with Ashley would be over. Brooke had high hopes that Katie was right and Ridge would return to her.
Stephanie tries to convince Katie that Donna only wants to marry Thorne to get revenge. Donna asks Katie to be her maid of honor. Katie is delighted and agrees to be a part of the ceremony. Jackie demands Donna tell the truth. Katie overhears Donna and Jackie's conversation that their marriage is going to make Stephanie miserable. Once Thorne is gone, Katie demands to know if Donna really loves him.
It's yet another wedding at the Forrester mansion, and this time it's a sister showdown as Katie grills Donna about her love for Thorne. In a heated exchange, Donna finally admits to Katie that she doesn't love Thorne, but they can make each other happy. Katie realizes it's all about revenge.
Downstairs, guests arrive as Jackie and Steph verbally punch it out. Steph finds Thorne in the den and tells him he deserves better than Donna, but she will support him even though she doesn't agree with his decision to marry a Logan. Steph joins the guests and she and Eric welcome Ashley. Steph verbalizes she can't believe Ridge is missing his brother's wedding. And she adds that Brooke needs to leave him alone. Rick and Ashley discuss the Big Bear trip and Rick tells Ash it's the pattern repeating itself again -- Ridge hurts Brooke and she forgives him. Meanwhile, Eric and Steph have their usual toe-to-toe discussion about the wedding. Eric tells Steph this is what Thorne wants.
Back in the den, Katie joins Thorne as he blubbers on about how much he loves Donna, but Katie pulls out all the stops. She tells Thorne Donna only wants to make Steph miserable. Thorne argues, but Katie lays it on the line that her sister doesn't love him as Eric opens the door telling Thorne it's wedding time. Thorne looks confused and Katie looks nervous.
As the wedding music begins, Felicia and Phoebe note that Thorne and Katie don't look too good. Katie takes her stance as maid of honor, and Storm walks Donna down the aisle. As Donna reaches Thorne, she gazes at him and mouths, "I love you." He looks around nervously.
