Amber and Stephanie talk. Amber tries to explain to her that she is just not infatuated with Thomas. They are in love with each other and she did not seduce him. She tells Brooke that she thought she would understand, knowing what has happened to her in the past. She tells Brooke that perhaps she is more like Stephanie than she cares to admit. She asks Brooke to please give her the time to prove that she and Thomas do care about each other, and then they can be like her and Ridge -- and no one will doubt their love for each other. She shows Brooke the necklace that Thomas gave her, because he wanted to, and not because their whole relationship was based on sex. Brooke tells Amber that she better start packing because she only has a short time to get out of town. Brooke leaves. A short time later, a knock comes at the door. Brooke has returned, but this time she is not alone. She has brought Det. Webber with her. He issues one final ultimatum to Amber. She either leaves now or she will be put in jail. Brooke rips the necklace off of Amber, that Thomas gave to her, and tells Amber that it's over.

Massimo tells Jackie that he knows about her and Deacon. She was with him when she didn't come home that one night. She was having an affair with him. Deacon tries to help her out but she is determined that Massimo only hears the truth now. She tells him that she was so lonely and didn't know what to do. She has loved Massimo her whole life. Massimo tells her that he considered her to be the one love of his life. He collapses on the floor, leaving a weeping Jackie calling for help while lying over his body.

Thorne is talking with his attorney about something he is planning and Thorne says that he is the one that needs to put an end to this war in his family. While Eric and Stephanie are discussing the financially problems Forrester Creation is experiencing since Thorne stole the new line from them, the phone rings. Thorne is calling to request a meeting with Eric, Stephanie and Ridge.

Ridge and Brooke are in bed when Eric calls to tell Ridge about the meeting. Eric tells Ridge he thinks Thorne is calling the meeting to tell them he wants to come back to Forrester. Ridge refuses to come to the meeting, but Eric pulls rank and orders Ridge to be at the meeting.

When Ridge gets out of bed to get dressed for the meeting, Brooke calls Darla and asked if she could meet her. Brooke goes to Spectra and asks Darla what this meeting is all about. Darla tells Brooke she has no idea what is going on over at Forrester and tells Brooke how Thorne has felt all these years. Brooke tells Darla there are better ways for Thorne prove himself to his family besides trying to destroy Forrester. Darla agrees and says she hates how this has turned out and what it is doing to everyone.

Just after Ridge arrives at Forrester, Thorne walks into the office. He tells Eric, Stephanie and Ridge he wants to come back to Forrester and gives them a proposal to look at. Thorne tells them the proposal is an offer for Spectra Couture to buy Forrester Creations. He states his case and said they can take the offer or wait, but the longer they wait, the offers will continue to decrease in value. He said Eric could stay on and continue as CEO or take an early retirement. Thorne told Ridge he also had the option to stay and work for him or he could take the buyout clause and Brooke and Ridge could start another company together. Thorne told them he is tired of waiting to take control of the company he was born to run and said it is time for him to take control.

Ridge refers to Thorne as an extortionist. Thorne prefers to call the offer made to Forrester's a legitimate business offer, but Ridge feels that it is a disgrace and that Thorne is also. Ridge feels an ultimatum was offered. Thorne disagrees. He offered to buy Forrester Creations, when it should have been passed on down to him. Eric comments that Thorne is demanding that they sell him the company. He tells him that if he wants to be part of the company again, that he has to come back. Thorne retaliates with the fact that they will either do it, or he will bring Forrester's down to their knees. Ridge thinks Thorne is crazy. Thorne says that he had no self esteem back then, and he wants to come back, but, he knows that nothing really will change unless he makes it happen, and that's what he is going to do. He asks his parents to believe in him, because if it were Ridge, they would be jumping to do this for him. He loves them all, even Ridge. They have twenty-four (24) hours to think about it. Thorne turns to Stephanie and acknowledges that she is the true matriarch of the company. She speaks outside the room to Thorne. She just wants the whole thing to end and for it to be over. She understands what he is doing, and she is very proud of him. He tells her, "to make it happen. He needs it to happen."

Thomas is looking at a series of pictures of Amber. Brooke says that "their won't be a problem with Ridge knowing about what happened with Amber if he will give her his word that Amber is out of his life." Brooke assures Thomas that everything will get better. He leaves to take a drive in his car.

Caitlin goes to see Amber. She wants Amber to know that she appreciates what she did for Thomas, and she did do the right thing. Amber tells her that what she and Thomas had was very special. Caitlin wants Amber to know that she didn't come to upset her. Amber elaborates about her feelings for Thomas. She tells Caitlin that her feelings were as real for Thomas as hers are for Rick. Maybe not so in the beginning, but now... She's doing what everyone wants her to do, because she doesn't want to hurt Thomas. She knows that if she called him, it would only make it that much worse. She admits that maybe she is not good enough for Thomas, but, she tells Caitlin, that she is good enough to walk away from him.

After Caitlin leaves, another knock comes to the door. She opens it to find a big bouquet of flowers being held out to her. Behind them, stands Thomas. They embrace and she is very happy to see him. He tells her that the restraining order is only good in LA, and furthermore it states that she can't come near him, and nothing about the face that he can't go to her. He intends to do just that. He says they will make it through together.
