Nick calls Brooke. They banter back and forth on the phone about their wedding and their honeymoon.

Ridge is in his car. He calls Eric and tells him that he is on the way to Brooke's place and then to the Shady Marlin, Nick's boat. Eric asks him if it's about the wedding. There isn't going to be any wedding, says Ridge.

Deacon arrives at Brooke's to pick up Hope for the wedding. He thanks her for letting him do this.

At Massimo's and Jackie's home, she is fussing over the wedding preparations. Nick tells Jackie to calm down. Everything will be fine. She is happy because Nick will be able to give his son what he's never had. Later, Nick comes downstairs, almost completely dressed for the wedding. Massimo tells him he is missing one thing. He puts a boutonniere on Nick, and says that he wishes Nick's grandfather was there. He had thought that Massimo might never get married and here he is standing up for his son, the same way that Nicky will someday be doing for his son. The doorbell rings and it's Deacon and Hope. At the home of Jackie and Massimo, Brooke arrives and Massimo tells her that she looks radiant. He then asks everyone to give the lovebirds a few minutes alone. Everyone leaves the room. Brooke asks Nick if the minister gave him any final last minute advice. I told him I knew what I was doing is his response.

Brooke notices that Hope has forgotten her flower basket and heads for the door as the doorbell rings. It is Ridge. He says he's there to explain a few things to her about Nick, and, then she can call off the wedding. Ridge asks Brooke if she's ever heard the name Maya. Ridge claims it's Nick's lover and what does she know about Nick? Brooke says that Nick loves her and is an honest guy. He tells her about the millions of dollars that have been sent, and the phone conversation he overheard between the two of them. Nick told Maya not to call him because they can't risk it. Brooke tells Ridge, I love you, but, I don't want my child growing up in a war zone, so if he can't control himself, she will have to cut him out of her life. Brooke again says, I love you, and I wish to God things could have been different, but, they are not, and we have to face that reality. Ridge asks Brooke to ask Nick. Brooke says "You want me, to ask my fiancé, on our wedding day, if he's having an affair?" He says yes. Brooke asks Ridge to let her go, let her be happy. Ridge wants Brooke to stall him for a few hours. He tells her that Nick will never make her happy. Brooke responds with, he all ready does. That's because you're seeing what you want to see. Brooke says, you think that Nick is some horrible person and he's not. He is a good man. Ridge says, "He's gonna prove her good man has been lying. A couple of hours Brooke, that's all I need." Brooke says, "You want me to stall him. Ridge says, don't give up on us, I never will. He kisses her. I never will Brooke. At Brooke's, Rick comes into the house and says that he noticed Ridge's car had just left. Rick asks why he was there. She tells him Ridge wanted her to postpone the wedding. Ridge thnks he found out something Nick. Brooke thinks he's grasping at straws. On your wedding day he does this. Ridge says she will be making a terrible mistake and that Nick can't be trusted. You didn't believe what he said, says Rick. Nick is a good man comments Brooke. Well, of course he is. Ridge is just desperate, says Rick. He's just hurting comments Brooke again. I know he is, says Rick, and I feel for him. I really do. He knows you're marrying someone else but he shouldn't be doing this to you. Whether he stopped by or not, I still would have been thinking about him, Brooke tells her son. We were so happy. I look around and I don't even recognize my life anymore. Rick responds with, "So it's not exactly that you planned, but that doesn't mean it can't be terrific. You just need to let go of the past. You have to let go of Ridge. "

Ridge boards the Shady Marlin. He looks around and asks the person standing before him, what are you doing here? Dad, you shouldn't be here. Neither should you, is the response. Ridge tells him, you don't know what's going on. So, tell me, says Eric. I'm meeting someone here. She should be here in a few minutes, explains Ridge. What does that have to do with Nick, asks Eric. I think he's having an affair, says Ridge. What, you think he's cheating on Brooke?" Eric asks. "Yeah, I do and I'm gonna prove it too, "says Ridge. Eric asks Ridge if he said this to Brooke. "Oh, she didn't believe me," utters Ridge. Eric is not surprised. Ridge says that he is not just shooting in the dark with this. "Look, I heard a phone conversation between Nick and this woman. It was all very secret and clandestine. Then I got into his computer" "Oh, for heaven's sake," says Eric. "Dad, I found emails going back months. It was all about secret meetings and wire transfers," spouts Ridge to Eric. "Well, that doesn't mean they're having an affair," Eric answers. "Well, it ain't business because I would have known about it," Ridge says. "All right, hang on, just stop right there," says Eric. "I'm not happy about this wedding, but it was very, very difficult for Brooke to make this decision and now you're asking her to cancel the wedding, just because of some suspicion of yours. All I need is confirmation." Eric says, "and then what?" "Then Brooke gets on with her life, without Nick," says Ridge.

Maya boards the boat. She calls out for Nick. Ridge appears and tells her he just left. She starts to go but Ridge grabs her. Ok, what's going on with you and lover boy?

On Nick's boat, Ridge confronted Maya. She denied that she is in a relationship with Nick. She claimed that the emails and the electronic payments are because she is selling her yacht to Nick. Nick is going to surprise Brooke with the yacht as a wedding present. Ridge did not believe Maya. Ridge tried to drag Maya to Nick and Brooke's wedding. Maya got away. She drove erratically to try to lose Ridge. Ridge called Brooke from his cell phone. Jackie saw that it was Ridge calling and turned off Brooke's cell phone. Ridge caught up with Maya with the intention of taking her to Nick and Brooke's wedding.

Upstairs, Brooke got dressed for the wedding. Katie sensed that something was not right with Brooke. Brooke admitted that she was upset because Ridge asked her to postpone the wedding.

Deacon flirted with Jackie. Jackie thanked him for running a second paternity test, which proved that Nick is the father of Brooke's unborn child. Later, Massimo questioned Deacon as to whether Jackie had seen anyone or had any phone calls. Deacon told Massimo that he had his eyes on Jackie all day.

Oscar, Bridget, Katie and nick all prepared for the wedding. Katie reported to Bridget that Brooke was shaky but fine. Nick and Brooke's wedding began.

Eric tells an agitated Stephanie that Ridge is at Nick's boat meeting a woman he believes is Nick's lover.

Meanwhile, the minister begins the ceremony and Nick and Brooke exchange heart-felt vows.

Ridge and Maya speedily drive to the wedding and arrive just in time to stop Nick from putting the ring on Brooke's finger. Ridge accuses Nick and Maya of having an affair but both deny it. Brooke feels sorry that Ridge seemingly looks like a fool.

A determined Ridge demands to know who Maya really is and whether or not she is Nick's mistress. Ridge then states he knows something isn't kosher because he broke into Nick's computer.

The guests receive notification that the FBI is at the front gate. After Ridge escorts Brooke out, the agents arrest Nick and Massimo.

Back at the Forresters, Eric defends Ridge but Stephanie claims that Brooke has Eric wrapped around her finger. Later, Ridge tries to convince Brooke that Nick isn't worthy of her love. Ridge tells Brooke that he will always love her and be there for her.

Brooke and Ridge share a moment of intimacy. He reminds her that the only reason two people should be getting married is because they love each other.

Stephanie and Eric go over to Jackie's. Jackie tells them it was all Ridge's fault. He ruined everything. Jackie tells them that FBI agents came in and arrested Massimo and Nick. Eric says that Ridge was only trying to break up the wedding because he thought Nick was having an affair. Stephanie tries to quiet him down and tells Jackie that everything will be all right. It was just some kind of misunderstanding. Jackie realizes that Ridge is with Brooke right now and rushes out of the house to look for them. She finds Brooke and when she does, she encounters Ridge also. She tells Ridge that he must leave because Brooke is worn out. He tells her in no uncertain terms that he is not leaving, but she is.

At the police station, the F.B.I. agents question Nick and Massimo. The agents tell them they have been watching Marone Industries for months, but, didn't have anything on them, until that night. That was because Ridge had decoded all the files. Massimo's lawyer comes in and says that if that's all the information that they have, with no proof, they are leaving. According to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act they are only allowed to pay money to minor officials. The lawyer thinks it's nonsense. The agent asks where their records are. They are required by law to keep honest and up to date records.
